Spy is so strong here! Night 1 was very unlucky for evils tho.

Spy's passive ability is so oppressive on evils that they had to remove it in TOS2 as it shuts down almost all non-killing evil roles

The passive used to be even stronger. In early TOS1, spy could also see mafia night chat (like VH does for vamps). Spy would be too weak with only its TOS1 active ability, as outside of rare cases like this game, spy usually doesn't see anything useful. Which is why in TOS2 spy bugs last until triggered and show hidden effects as well as visible effects
