In this video, I townscape an island cleaved in two by a large wall, separating the wealthy harbor from the poor city. In the two cities, I build a religious well temple, a fisher’s market, numerous neighborhoods, skyscrapers, public housing, a harbor, lighthouse, opera house, bridge, canal, farm, marketplace, hotel, colonial mission, granary, and numerous mansions.
Townscaper uses procedural generation to make a minimalist yet medieval landscape of buildings, courtyards, and towers. It's an experimental passion project in which you can build arches, lush backyards, courtyards, stairways, and bridges. It's very relaxing.

Soooo.. "poor" area is where people have their own houses, nice view, cozy streets. And "rich" area is where people have to live in appartments in boring skycrappers?

I agree with you--rewatching this video, I think I'd prefer to live in the more varied area as well. It's so hard to make anything look bad in this game lol.

It sort of reminds rather than a city that is divided between two countries but instead a city with a large Freeport with international businesses making use of it and a Heavey wall to protect the port.

This is a good channel. Your builds are great, they feel really harmonious with the game's mechanics while still being impressive. Lots of people kinda get too ambitious and it just ends up looking weird.

Isn't there a thing in this game where you can copy and paste a code to share your towns? I'm not sure, I'm new to it, but if there is, you should share the code for this! It's really cool, I'd love to look around it and see it in detail.
