You are either obsessed with the sport, or you are not. It encompasses more than one might see on the surface of one who is obsessed. Tho I have cut out the components for close to 200 Wood Duck nesting boxes, and have guided many scouting groups to assemble them, these direct projects leading to more success in the blind are but part of the equation. I find that looking forward to the change of seasons only extends the joy of all things Autumn and the hunt it will bring far ahead on the front end, and I am always alert to each and every change in nature, and each and every change of the seasons. A good waterfowl season has many components. It isn't just that period of time from opening day to the last Sunset as the season closes, it really is all things waterfowl. All year long!

R Schittenhelm i killed it in the 2017- 2018 duck season in west Tennessee I don’t remember exactly where it was banded but it was close to Canada the bird was only 2 or 3 years old
