Fantastic that you collected that much money for your family. When I took my detector for the first time after we were allowed out during the pandemic , the first hit I get is a bottle cap. What type ?? Corona ! What the heck !

Well my comments are not posting on Patreon so I’ll post here. Stay healthy and stay positive sir. I’m a disabled veteran and have been doing everything I can to stay active as much as possible. Swimming is the only thing I have found that doesn’t hurt to do. It would be amazing to be able to find treasures while I’m doing this.

I was metal detecting a few years ago and had a rather strange find. I got a target around an old barnyard. I started digging and unearthed a nest of Gardner snakes. There must have been 100 of them little buggers come slithering out all over the place! Scared the b-Jesus out of me.

I love the Nemo. I used to skin dive in the bays off the New Jersey coast. I had a small inflatable tire insert and a diver warning flag I made myself sitting on top. I met so many people who wanted to know what I was doing. It was such fun. The Nemo is a futuristic version of my tire. I would love to be able to expand my fun and meet new people, clean up trash and if lucky find some treasure.

Thank you for your videos. I don’t know anything about metal detecting but I bought a minelab 705, at a yard sale for $50. You make it look so much fun. Don’t have the time to go to remote areas though. Thanks again for the videos.

DAN you guys are as always fantastic good on you MR.OLIVER $2700 bucks is always good I did the same last year with my $100 not water proof lol and with a back injury the water is the best place not walking around for 30min at a time b4 I have to stop for 15 to 20 min so not really the best thing and if I dont win no BIGGY imbhere to support your channel be safe out there you guys 👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦👍😎🇨🇦

I was metal detecting with my brothers, at a old school house, they were finding thing left and right, all I was finding was pull tabs, I was coming everyday kinda depressed, well they decided to cheer me up a little, they planted a cut little ring for me. When I found it I was so excited , I cried like a baby, I treasured it and still have it. Years later they finally told me what they did, we had a big laugh over it. I still love my little 25 cent ring.

G,day Michael. Another awesome adventure you take us out with you, Love it. I though i'll write one of my stories. So here it goes. Few years ago i went down my local beach for a metal detecting adventure, as it was a good low tide that day. I was using my first metal detector i bought which was the Garret ACE 250. It served me well for few years until I upgraded to the Minelab Excalibu II. Great machine. Anyway. I was having a good time at the beach, Finding few things now and then, and then a guy comes up to me. Asked me how is it going with the detecting etc. And then he asked me if i wouldn't mind if he would take a photo of me. It was he's hobby. He was using and old photo camera which was using the film. So i said yeah, why not. he took few photos of me. And then we just said, Well have a good day enjoying the weather, and find something good. About 3 months later i went down the beach to look for some more treasure. I was detecting and then a guy comes up to me. And says hello. Then he took an envelope out of he's bag and gave it to me. And inside it was the photo of me which he took about 3 months ago. Whenever he was going for a walk down the beach he took that photo with him, just in case i'm down the beach detecting, so he can give it to me. The story just shows how some people do good things for others, The same way as you are doing with helping others to find their lost rings etc. By the way this story is real. I have a funny story that if you are from Australia you will understand. I am an American. My Aunt Francis ( AKA: Fran) and I went on vacation to Hawaii for something like 5 days. It was short, but we wanted to pack in as many adventures as possible. We lived in different places, she was flying in from Wisconsin, our home state, and I was flying in from the Marshall Islands. She is also about 15 years older than me, but we have a great relationship. When we met up in Hawaii, it was the first time she had ever been anywhere where you had to fly. Anyways, she thought the best way not to lose anything and not to get pick pocketed was to use a Hip Pack or as Americans call them, Fanny Packs. This kind of bag had been out of style since the 90's. One day we are on a hiking tour to a waterfall, and are in a small tour group. It was just us and 3 Australians, two younger ladies and a younger man all about my age in our mid 20's. Well, during the ride to the place where we were going to start the hike, I was in a funny mood. I decided to jokingly make fun of my aunt and her old hip bag. I started to sing "Franny with her Fanny, Franny with her Fanny." And for some reason all of a sudden the three Australians started bursting into laughter. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I continued on with my singing all during the trip at random times to poke fun of my aunts antiquated hip bag. And each time the Australians were dying with laughter. Finally at the end of the trip my aunt was so curious and a bit frustrated as to what they were laughing at, she got up the courage to ask them. When they told us, what Fanny meant in Australia, I was shocked, and a little embarrassed. 😳 But then we all started giggling at the language faux pas. It was quite a funny story that we both will never forget. If you are from Australia, I'm sure this will make perfect sense as to why it is so funny.

I bought my first underwater metal detector last year and found my first gold ring after 15 minutes searching. This detector had a very small coil. Imagine what I could find with the Nokta Macro's much larger coil. Greatings from Germany Lechsonde.

Hope you are doing better, and the doctors fine what ails you. My wife and I discovered you and your KZfaq channel and we are glad we did. We started a hobby together which includes metal detecting and magnet fishing. It is something my wife can do due to her disabilities.It’s also something we could do together. I didn't think it was possible to have so much money in that bag. However, in America we don't utilize dollar coins, especially since they are too close to the size of a quarter, at least the new dollars that are minted. It's a shame. I remember in Holland years ago they had 2.5 Guilder coins. My husband doesn't like coins so I always had lots of money to use for myself. Vacation there was always fun. Thank you for the fun videos. I think the ring is a ruby. ♥♥♥

I enjoy your videos, but if I may make one suggestion: Please check the volume--when you play your intro and outro clips, they're usually a LOT louder than the video itself. It's painful for those of us who wear headphones.

I have only been metal detecting a year because I am recovering from a broken neck and back in two places. I always wanted to do it and have only found one fake necklace but I did manage to clean up a lot of trash. I also dig for shark teeth. After day of just finding trash metal detecting, I gave up and went hunting for shark teeth on Indian Rock Beach here in FL. my fifth shovel I find this beautiful white gold five carrots with diamonds going down the side of the band. I started shaking!!! I look around and not ten feet away there is a family going crazy. A couple of them were crying and then I hear the older man say we will find it. I walked over to the younger man with metal detector in hand asking if I could help. The mother was playing with her grandson in the water throwing a ball. When she got out of the water she noticed it was gone. I asked her to tell me what it looked like and she did one better, she showed me a picture!! The ring was handed down to her from her mother. The ring was in the family over 125 yrs. so when I opened my hand and said so I bet you would be real happy to have this back....she fell into my arms!!! I am so hooked on helping people now I go to the beach as often as I can. Getting better gear sure would help and give me a machine I can never afford on disability. I didn't take any money from her, her hug and to see how happy the entire family was enough payment for me. Thank you for inspiring me helping me get my physical therapy at the same time. If i win this i first gonna put some coins in my backjard and a golden chain that i have from i whas a Child, then i gonna go with my 8 year old boy surching after some gold and old coins , he would be so happy , his Dream is to go to Australia to find some gold with a gold detector, hope i win :-) thanks for the nice videos , me and my boy loves them :-)

Love the videos and impressed with what you do. That is a nice looking metal detector but I do not think I qualify in winning one here in the US. I would use it at the beach here or in the heavy underbrush where my larger detector will not go. I have a question for you. What do you feel is your favorite find?
