Regarding the ABOLITION OF MAN, here's a quote from C.S. Lewis which I think perfectly captures the paradox of modern masculinity: "And all the time-such is the tragi-comedy of our situation-we continue to clamour for those very qualities we are rendering impossible. You can hardly open a periodical without coming across the statement that what our civilization needs is more 'drive,' or dynamism, or self sacrifice, or 'creativity.' In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful."

I’d personally avoid prager u stuff, they tend to be half-hearted about conservative causes, the gender stuff is probably the most seriously conservative issue they’ll hold to, but otherwise their allegiance to conservative inc. is apparent.

54:10 "When they deny their masculinity they run away from responsibilities leaving destruction and despair in their wake..." That's an oversimplification. They're skipping over the state of being harmless, slothful and useless, which is bad; but doesn't always lead to destruction and despair. These trends can be reversed with proper intervention. Still there is some truth to that when you consider sin is a downward slope...you can slide from uselessness into destructive behavior. I always go back to the terrifying legacy of the Marquis de Sade, who, trapped in prison with nothing to do; utilized his "masculine" creative energies in a vile and misanthropic fashion. The problem is these impulses don't go away. You've got to figure out what to do with them. I think though the Church would much rather have a harmless teen masturbating in his basement than another Marquis de Sade. Devolving back into a useless, sinful state is bad but deliberately mobilizing in the name of evil is far worse... My point is though...let us not make the mistake of demonizing the slothful alongside the Sades. We can actively work to save the slothful. The Sades are a different story...

About how the men and women act, Norway inverted quite amount of money to change the preferences of women selecting generally masculine careers, forty years trying to entice women to reach a fifty percent of inscriptions, no way, the feminine preferences went to the classical looking after others career's, medicine, teaching, etc.

One topic I didn't hear brought up in that discussion was the decline of physical labor. I think that's also a major problem for young men. Being stuck in a cubicle all day cuts you off from your physical potential. Without that exercise, men, due to testosterone, tend to get more antsy and can slide back into addictive behaviors. You might say "Well...there's the gym!". The gym can be a place of vanity and narcissism which disconnects you from the world. It's not the same as physical labor. Physical labor brings moral satisfaction, promotes discipline and humility; and it makes men feel positive about their bodies and strength. I think that's a good thing all around.

Traditional is being made a thing of the past-some good, some bad, some neutral. My biggest problem is newer feminists don't want equal treatment. They want the perks of being a man, the perks of being a woman, but the burden of neither. Guy pressures girl for sex she doesn't want-she's a victim. Girl pressures guy for sex-he's weak and not masculine. Guy won't follow through after sex leading to pregnancy-he's a deadbeat dad. Woman doesn't want a baby-she's pro-choice. Girl in relationship abused by a guy-she's sympathized, told to leave him, women shelters are generally available. Guy abused by girl-he's wimp, laughed at, good luck finding an abuse shelter. Bullying is somewhat necessary. I was bullied when I was little. It's generally establishing the pecking order. If you don't defend yourself you're looked down on a bit. Teachers in the 90s generally just said "Knock it off" In 6th grade I finally had enough and turned around and punched him in the face. He fell back and tripped over a fan. Teacher looked over and said "Chuck, go to the office" (FYI-I'm not Chuck) Didn't say a word to me because she knew the backstory. Now if you get hit you generally get suspended even if you don't throw a punch. By the time I got to high school a guy (punished even after not punching) said if he's going to get punished, he's going back to find the other guy and make sure he gets follows through with what he's being punished for. As far as being good, I follow the "original sin" mindset that people are born inherently evil. We're selfish. I used this debate with a Muslim that say Adam and Eves sins are their own and we're born inherently good. Raising kids-generally some of the harder parts are when kids learn the concept of "No" and "Mine" We had to be taught how to behave.

The word toxic is a judgement unto itself . I’ve met many “toxic” individuals who are good people because they don’t personally dominate others. The point is don’t judge or dominate. The reason behind Adam and Eve’s disobedience is they wanted to be like “gods” and dominate God Himself. Imitate Christ.

It's interesting that they included the issue of male and female brains being physically different. Studies done on the brains of transgender people have found that their brains do in fact resemble that of the gender with which they identify, rather than that of their biological sex. I wish that detail had been addressed.

"What the world told them to do"..?? Its easy to say "the world" rather than what other men have perpetuated. Men learn how to be men by other men. A woman should be able to walk down the street, go for a run, or anything else without a man making comments, feeling threatened or in danger. Too many men are bad examples and see women as objects rather than daughters of the Most High God.

I’m not a feminist, but I question the meaning of the term feminist that you used. Are you saying that those women who fought to have the right to a vote are in hell? That’s sort of where the term derived from. I dislike these broad interchangeable terms being used as a put down just because #1. Christians aren’t supposed to “love” like that, and #2. You aren’t being clear in your statement as to what you really mean. Therefore no one gets educated and confusion and strife abounds. Exactly what are you trying to say. What is a “feminist” to you?
@gold3084

Women were not to be entitled to vote. The vote was given to guys as a result of being drafted and fighting in wars. Women got the vote because they nagged guys. Women got the vote and are the majority of voters. The fruits are abortion, destruction of marriage and family and western civilization dying due to low birth rate. Most women will end up in Hell and for once in Their life they gained it fair and square without some afferative action!

David Goldfish wow..just...wow...while I agree with some of what you say, only God says who goes to hell and who does not. None of us know the heart, of anyone, full stop. I would never want to imagine anyone in the worst place..a place where God does not enter, and where one is separated from his love, forever. Also, I’d say here, that no one enters Heaven without humility, but there are plenty, in hell, without humility....male and female. I would also add that the destruction of marriage and family is a two person operation, I’m afraid. As for voting, and abortion, you may be right, in terms of where we are, today, but early suffragettes would have been horrified at the thought. Women who fought for the vote were married, mothers, and in general, traditional. I might also add, here, that abortion never even had a vote! It went straight to the Supreme Court, and no American, male or female, had a vote. The wool was pulled over all our eyes...no “nagging” involved. Do your research about Roe vs Wade. I do share your aversion as to where we are, today, though, and you’re right. The fruits of the past are all the things you mention, but we, as humanity, all have a part. At the end of the day, we need to think to ourselves, why were women so unhappy, back then? Were they not in bad marriages, with men who were “toxic” and taking advantage? What happened that made them so unhappy? The list is in this video, under toxic masculinity. My point is that we are, as a fact, all responsible, in the end.
@gold3084

The reason is pride. The femininist says that she is smarter than God. God designed two genders with diferent roles while the feminist rejects this and thus is unacceptable to God!

I’m not even sure how a video about toxic masculinity turned in to a conversation about feminism, but hey ho! Since this conversation is going nowhere, and some just seem to want to vent, instead of professing to know the mind of God (I don’t) I will defer to Star Trek and say, simply, “Live long and prosper”. 🖖🏾
