“I DON’T CARE WHAT EVERYONE LIKES!” Wow, that performance really makes you almost feel the agony and pain Shrek is in. It’s haunting, sincere, and raw, and it’s also sad when you think about how he died later in the Avengers arc. In the end he really did care about what everyone liked coz he died protecting it.

@Catalyst the rejection of the existence of absolutes leads to moral relativism. However, you can believe that there are objective moral standards without dealing in absolutes. As a moral agent, you need to consider the fringes of our complex reality. Absolutes or ultimatums downplay these fringes and attempt to paint everything as black and white. While certain things may be absolutely right or wrong, your belief that absolutes exist does not necessitate you to always deal in absolutes.

However, if they happen to come to power when they're children, the state still gets to be ruled by the court who are experienced in ruling the country until they come of age to rule. In democracy, people who come to power are experienced in intricacies, not in ruling.

Shrek the son of Yoda and one of the most powerful forces in the universe. As strong as a base level Thanos with no infinity stones. And John Wick an expert assassin, killer with one of the best arsenals known to man and a dead dog. That's like a fight between Hawkeye and Thor. We all know who would win. John Wick is just a man. Don't get me wrong he's incredibly skilled and good enough to be on the Avengers but he's no Shrek.
