Funny story. When me and my friend became pirate legends and came down to athenas fortune we saw someone getting the curse so we stood in the crowd cheering and clapping then when the song was done his friend who had already got the curse killed us.

Well deserved, Going through rough moments and impossible odds and yet.. you still pulled through it, I'm glad you made it this far, and I hope this is an inspiration to other players getting to motivation of one of these hardest rewards in the game. And glad I was able to be here, in general glad being the first to spot your channel and watch it grow ^^

I wish I could stop crying during the ceremony to receive the athena curse but it's just too good. Thank you Toxie for a great year with content to watch, beacuse of that I raise me grog and look forward to many more to come. Happy new year!

I’ve been playing this game since the anniversary update and I can confirm I have not gotten better at any aspect of the game which makes me very happy. And I can also say that about 40% of my hours were spent in black screens

Im on a level 100 route, level 31 for now, and to win every match i've learnt there are essentially to golden rules to follow: 1) Make sure the enemy doesn't get the chance to use the cannon. Aim for it, and soon or late they'll get pissed. Use it as your advantage. 2) The sooner you camp the enemyes on their boat, the better.

Broooo this game, they know how to pull my heart strings, I've gotten little happy tears twice in this games major parts, once when pendragon absolutely tore jack a new one in chapter 3 of "Jacks Life" and now watching the blessing teared me up too, Rare is soo good at what they do, if only they could find a way to snuffle out the hackers the player base would bloom again, I know it

Man that grind is really great and really hard at the same time I must say I see how improved you can go and I find myself in your experience thank you so much for sharing it ! The premade alliances, the swabbies (I'm one myself), etc. That's such a great way of getting introduced to PVP. I didn't know driving the enemy out of bound wasn't granting them their loser victory point I'm glad I got to pvp that player the other day, now I'm determined to get throught it (only lvl 25), watching you talking about your own journey is so motivating, I had a hard time getting to sleep yesterday night cause I was mentally going through my own battles and what I could have done, after watching the 3/4 of your video.

Honestly after the pain that was OG Shores of Gold commendations, that feels like child’s play now. Every other non-PvP grind feels like such a holiday now, here’s hoping I don’t get too fussed on beating the Fated Fortune commendations

Doing a solo sloop is a bit of a risk considering how it's practically RNg, you can have a fight and a toxic brig or galleon can intervene making a unfair fight or even show up in a Alliance Server against a small fleet, another RNG factor is the fact you can practically encounter a hacker who just teleports on making a unfair fight.

I think I was in one of the servers you were put into. I was watching the hourglass battle from Reaper’s Hideout!

It's definitely a harder, longer grind then Gold Curse (which was seen as the curse of sweatlords). Also not a god. I've always been decent at the game, but this has definitely helped improved me, to the point where it's just sweatlords after sweatlords, and sometimes a Synicall appearance. And after a tough grind, I eventually got there. Also yes, pre-made alliances suck, but don't mistake opportunists for them either! I've had people roll in on me, and I've rolled in on others fighting. Just an easy streak! Sucks being hammered by two ships, but at least the opportunist wasn't there because they made an alliance with the other ship. Got to respect the grind.

This actually makes me want to play the PvP, but only for Athena's . The only problem is my anxiety gives my whole body pins and needles. its not a pleasant feeling

Friendly tip is to find a crew/duo to play with. We are both at 500 in both factions now and have improved and learnt more in a short amount of time :)

I’ve been playing nearly a month and I’ve almost hit the 100 for Reapers (I’m at 86), and I don’t have PL yet 😅

Fun fact: it would take 10 hrs and 16 mins to get the athena curse. Of nonstop grinding in pvp if you get a match made every 5 mins and win every single time.

I never attempted doing the hourglass for the pvp matches to get to that point since I’m a solo player that’ll end up getting defeated

The easiest way to win and it’s actually guaranteed but wasting Garfield’s regurgitated lasaugna then wait for it to be morning time then cannon over/ fly to the other ship like Terrence and protect the holes you caused when you hit their ship as Terrence by morning all over the other crew
