I don't have as many Toy Story toys from the first movie, just the original 1996 Buzz (and the Signature Collection of course x)). But as a child, I had a little Buzz and a little Woody not articulated but with which I played a lot ^^

Boy, do I miss Toy Story Collection? Hopefully Thinkway Toys releases them again, right on time for Toy Story 5. It's better to find them on stores instead of eBay since they became expensive nowadays. I used to have the Signature Collection Buzz back in the day when Toys R Us was around in 2013. But the wing that blinks green broke, And it's unfortunate that I can't get it fixed. I hope I get regular Buzz, as well as Utility Buzz, including Woody, RC, Mr. Potato Head, Rex and Jessie if they come back to stores one day.. 😢

I think for the 30th anniversary we need an extended directors cut with newly added dialogue and with deleted scenes like rain and torture and some other pieces we only heard in the workprint version

When the same thing happens for Toy story two will you do the toy story two toys? I might be 14 but I still do have the VHS tapes I was always fascinated by old technology so we kept the stuff around I was the one kid in school who actually still had a functioning VCR

I have the same VHS of the original Toy Story movie that you have with Buzz Lightyear with his wings out with Woody holding on to his left arm with the laser and he has his other arm in the air with his fist closed with his helmet on. However those aren't the Toy Story toys I had at the time when the movie was brand new, I had the original late 95 - early 96 versions of the Woody and Buzz toys made by Thinkway (when they were new at the time of course).

Yeah 1995 toys were significantly different than what Thinkway toys made in 2009 with the collection line. I think because many people grew up with the 1995 versions people still love them because they bring a lot of childhood memories, feelings and nostalgia.

@@todayigrewup Yes I agree with you, I loved the original Toy Story toys when I had them as a child despite how limited they were. I didn't even care to notice the differences between them and the movie versions until I got older, because as a kid you tend to never pay attention to details like adults do.
