It cracks me up that the bio for Beast says he was born with a high IQ completely dismissing he was just a meathead in the first few issues and was pretty much The Thing personality wise.

I love this X-Men said I remember when it first came out I grabbed it right away I wish I still had it I've been recollecting a lot of the toy business X-Men lately and this is definitely one on my list to get

You are spot on..Jack Kirby would be proud..and i too have the giant Apocalypse(10 inch scale of fun if i am correct but well sculpted and colored) to battle with these heroes.

THATS how its done(Hasbro take notice) i miss those days.I still have all my O.G. boxed sets,& open sets as well.This was a time we aint NEVER gonna see again .Hasbro would be beggin for $ 200 per set these days ! (it would be a 'special ,limited edition color' box,so people would line up,cash in teeth) Excellent trip to the past ,thanks !

These are ok figures. Definitely the best and worst of the 1990's attributes at play here. For a set focusing on teenagers they are ultra buff especially Scott "Slim" Summers and in the case of Marvel Girl and Beast extremely disproportionate from the others and look at that anatomy? Yeesh. The only great figure in the set was Angel. The following two sets Avengers 1 and Giant Size X-Men 1 had better proportions, anatomy and were in more neutral poses. The Hasbro set is better in every way, but is still not perfect as they are still buff and not would I would expect from teenagers.

Beast cyclops and angel is better and cooler

I'll pass they might be repaints... DC new figures are leaps and bounds higher quality than Hasbro's Marvel Legends right now
