Mending 2, all it does it does is add java elitra breaking mechanics to an item its applied to so if the durability goes to 0 the item is just unusable. To fix the balance issue, only put them in end city chests with the rarity of end armor trim. This would place it firmly in the end game category, and make it an adventure to find mending 2 for all your armor.

For the record gold isn't poisonous, it's very soft and inert so it has little to no effect on the body. In fact, foods that are coated or sprinkled with gold are infamous luxury items So the suggestion of removing the golden carrots was both bad and scientifically inaccurate

I don't think the "man" in "Enderman" has anything to do with gender anyway. I think of it like a play on the word "Human". They are human, but altered by the End, thus, Enderman.

Nothing will top when, way back in the day, a huge portion of the Minecraft community was screaming at the top of their lungs in opposition to smooth lighting being added to the game, because according to them it wasn’t “Minecrafty” enough like the old blocky lighting. The difference between the golden carrot and the cookie is that golden carrots do not exist and most people don’t have easy access to horses, whereas both cookies and birds (pet and friendly wild ones) are both easily accessible. Suggestion. Farmer villagers harvest crops. Wandering traders hold leads for lama as well as drink an invisibility potion and milk. And that’s it. The other villagers do nothing. So here’s my suggestion. Have the others do something special depending on their jobs. Fishermen will go to a body of water and fish. Librarians will take and put books in a chiseled bookshelf (they have an inventory of books they can have. You cannot get infinite books from them.) shepherds will shear sheep. Leatherworkers can breed and kill cows that are in the village. Clerics can drink potions like witches such as fire resistance, water breathing, stuff like that depending on the situation. Armorers can put on armour when an enemy is nearby. Weaponsmiths can randomly attack enemies when running away from them. Toolsmiths can mine for ores. They won’t actually mine them. They’ll just go near them with a pickaxe and the blocks breaking animation will play. If a target block is nearby a fletcher can shoot arrows at it. Also, another thing. Librarians, are very op. They have very op trades. Mojang tried to fix them by allowing them to trade these items in different biomes. But I think it doesn’t really help all that much. They did fix the armorer pretty well by selling diamond armour. And needing diamonds to buy them. That way, it would still require diamonds to make armour, just cheaper. So why not the same for librarians. If you want to buy an enchantment. You can, but instead of travelling to another biome. You need to give them both emeralds and diamonds. Not only will this balance it out. But it’ll also make diamonds more useful. Because once you get full netherite armour and tools. There isn’t really much need for more diamonds.

The fire resistance on meat actually could be cool. Not only a neat systemic mechanic, you could have it take like twice as long to cook and is destroyed in the process, but you'd get a ton more XP. Sot there's a good way to farm XP without necessarily having to automate things.

Addendum to the looting working on players idea: make it where it makes them drop items even when keep inventory is turned on, and the higher your looting level the more of their items get dropped

Gold isn't actually poisonous though. It's so non-reactive that it passes straight through the body and then you get golden fertiliser out the other end. Gold is one of the least interesting elements when it comes to its effects on humans. At least on a chemical level, on a social and economic level it has fascinating effects.

My biggest suggestion that could be controversial is Silk Touch II that's capable of making spawners drop. Froglight farming is absolutely unreasonable, and this wouldn't really be unbalanced, as there are better ways to get XP and items. The suggestion for Silk Touch II I saw also suggested being able to collect crops without turning them into their drop items, which I think would be really cool. You could use them as decorations on grass blocks, or even in pots.

i think the person had a good idea when it came to silver ore. just have a vampire and werewolves update and have their weakness be silver. craft mirrors, armor, and silver tipped arrows. have silver naturally catch vampires on fire. having a enchantment like cleansing aspect that admits a blue flame that harms them and works the same as fire aspect. garlic potions that when you drink them causes a vampire to take damage almost like thorns or can be turned into a splash potion to deal damage against them

I have a suggestion but I don’t know how to summit it so hopefully you will see this. Dog and Cat beds, aside from decorations they could be used to set a point of reference for dogs and cats to roam around, so that they can actually defend someone based and you are not just letting your dog sit so that they don’t follow you into caves and die. The should be 3 stages, basic 50 block range, and the you can upgrade the crafting recipe like you would a map and with each upgrade the dog or cat can roam more blocks away from the bed.

Certain gold weights are edible. Just wanted to mention that.

when you read the commenter's reasons for adding Silver i was perplexed. just... that's it? a block that senses rain and binoculars? what's the use of a device that detects rain? and we already have the Spyglass. an ore more common than Coal just for *those?* even Coal has more use than that! and i came up with a better use for Silver some time ago. let me pitch my idea: Silver Ore would be as rare as Diamond. my idea is to use 4 Silver Ingots to incase an Iron Sword in them, thus creating a Silver Sword; and incasing Arrows in 2 Silver Nuggets to make Silver Arrows. the sword would do as much damage as an Iron Sword against Illagers, animals and the like. but against monsters (Zombies, Creepers, Ender Dragon, and the ones i've come up with), the Silver Sword would be as strong as an Iron Sword with Sharpness 2/3, and if you enchant it with Sharpness, it can only go up to Sharpness 1/2 (same with Power enchantment). the Silver Sword can be repaired with Silver Ingots; but if it runs out of durability, it'd revert back to an Iron Sword - but with half or 3/4 of durability, meaning that you can only use it 2 or 4 times before you have to make another Iron Sword (assuming you don't repair it). Silver Arrows are stronger than regular Arrows when shot at monsters. so what i'm effectively asking for, is a new ore that is just as rare as Diamond, but it's not as strong (so Diamond wouldn't lose any value long-term) and can make just 2 new tools that are only useful against monsters, and you have to make the choice of having a stronger sword or stronger arrows whenever you come across a batch of the material. and it's rarity and limited enchantment pool are a way to balance out how OP it is (let me know if it actually would be). my concept of the Silver Sword and Silver Arrows is so you have a fighting chance against the monsters i've come up with - *and believe me, i want to tell you of them.*

I wonder if the idea for Silk Touch V came from a player who converted a pre 1.16.100 Java world to Bedrock with MCC Tool Chest PE and noted that some enchantments on Swords got scrambled due to the differences between Bedrock and Java, getting Silk Touch V in the process due to Sharpness ID Value being 16 on Java, whereas on Bedrock Silk Touch's ID is 16 which through such a transition would turn Sharpness V to Silk Touch V. So they essentially turned this into a joke if it came from this? Realistically if it came from this, at least their sword can get Cobwebs.
