Great video. Would love to see one of changing the timing belt and the front lift. I've got a new to me 2002 XC with just shy of 200. No stickers in sight. Not my daily so I have time. Will be watching.👍

I have a bunch of front end upgrades on the way, most all the parts are here. I truly appreciate your support of my channel. Can you crawl underneath the truck and look at it from the bottom? This looks overly complicated just to inspect the belt. They probably should have designed it with a chain.

No it cannot be seen from the bottom. One cover or the other has to be pulled open

when i replaced mine at 180,000 miles it had OE belt and still look great. there were no sticker under hood. i assume it was the original belt

Wow! That's awesome. I've heard lots of stories like that. I'm not gonna risk it past 90k miles. I've had several belt driven Toyota engines and always change them on time then I don't worry. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate your support of my channel.

How’s the oil pressure on yours ? Mines a 2000 , oil pressure when driving is half or 3/4 . When at idle 1/4 , sounds like lifter tick when idle but been like that sense I’ve owned it . Just put a 2.5” lift in and entire new front suspension . Just rough country , bilsteins we’re too rich for me lol love the videos

Oil pressure on mine is exactly the same as yours. "Lifter" noise is most likely fuel injector noise. Mine makes the same noise and has since 125k miles when my SIL first bought it. I thought it was lifter noise too but I don't believe it is. I have a bunch of front end upgrades coming soon! Almost all the parts are here. Thank you, I really appreciate that you enjoy my videos! I got a 2008 toyota tundra 4.7 sr5. I peek on z belt haven't seen any cracks. I will change it in abt next 1000 miles because I bought it from a guy and I'm not sure when he did the change. What would you recommend getting done first ? Thanks

I'd definitely do the timing belt first if it's unknown when it was done. I'll have the video on a 4.7 timing belt up in a few weeks. Otherwise I'd check it over real well and give attention as needed. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.
