I’ve seen people say the sim doesn’t work and that they have to use hotspot for this to work. Is that accurate?

I could not get a Mint Mobile or Tello sim to work so I use usb phone tethering.

Does this add remote start to the vehicle? I have an X series, needed remote start but did not want to use after market remote start. I know if you upgrade to JBL head unit it can be done.

@@hamiltonmotorcompany , can you post a video of the screen while backing up and also while parking / low speed, and also in 4Lo? I would buy one of these head units if I know these three scenarios still function correctly.
