Local dealership charged me $175 to do this today on a car that has less than 50k miles on it and still had that "new car smell" (it was faint, but still smelled good). Now my car smells like chemicals, and I'm out $175 for a service I could have done myself for $40 and probably didn't even need to be done in the first place.

Thanks for the video, I am in Florida and I applied half of the first can and right away removed the adapter from the hose however the liquid came with pressure like yours but right away, I thought the foam would turn into liquid with time, not right away, I even though the hose was clogged which is not

That looks like an effective way to get rid of unfavorable smells from your AC circulating system. How about the interior of your vehivcle? If you have cloth material seats, felt-like material on interior ceiling, etc? What are you using to nullify or eliminate odors from soft-material surfaces that absorb smells? I use Tuff Stuff and a nylon scrub brush to clean the seats. Dry with a towel.

If there is still musty/mold smell after doing this, can Lysol sprayed into the air intake be worthy of more "cleaning and disinfecting"?

One time we rented 2 Toyotas and I never saw a puddle from the AC! The AC drain wasn’t clogged, and there was enough humidity, Air recirculation was off!

Why did you turn the AC off when doing the second part of cleaning the vents??

turn off AC to dry the coils to help get rid of the mold

Some say the Toyota Refresher Kit is brand specific but I think it’s all the same stuff and should work on any car. Anyone out there please correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll do a little more research for the Pilot.
