I’m waiting for my Alphard conversion at Wellhouse. Mines the 3 litre AWD 2006, but I’ve gone for the pop top roof. I can’t wait 👍

A fab video, thanks for uploading. We have a gorgeous Alphard we are hoping to get converted soon. I hadn't seen the hi-top inside, it looks great!

Hi Guys great video I have a few questions...1. Does the electric side window next to the cooker/sink still open/close after the vehicle conversion and also the heater blower is that fed from the leisure battery or fuel tank. Again thanks for showing us your great wee campervan.

Hi there, warm air blower from fuel tank and the side door is fully operational as normal, so it can also be used as a serving hatch, which is handy👍Thanks for your comment ❤️

Nice video. I really like the Alphard. Have you ever had any issues being a high top, getting into car parks with height restrictions or going under bridges?

Hi, thanks for comment,, not had any issues with bridges, But have turned up at a few car parks & places on park 4 Nite app & there was barriers at 2mtrs.. Most of the places we visit are out in the wilds, so it don't really bother us too much

Cheers for the upload looking forward to more uploads. What engine is yours and what mpg are you getting on a run, and have you had any problems with it Was looking at elgrand but been told the Alphard is more reliable. Many thanks

Hi there, thanks for comment, we have had our Alphard a few yrs now, ive always been a toyota guy so was an easy decision for me as they are very reliable, as for ours, it aint gave us any problems wot so ever and its now done about 130k, as long as you have some form of history on it and perhaps join the Alphard owners club on FB, you will get an insight into many answers you want. Our engine is from a toyota camry 2.4 unleaded, even though they are imports, parts etc no problem, runs well, gearbox fine, as for average mileage, that just depends on you regarding where you travel to via B roads or motorways, i reckon its about 25-29, i genuinely didnt consider the Alphards mileage on purchase, as ours was immaculate, full history, conversion by Wellhouse Leisure. Very nice van. What is the width of your rock n roll bed? I have a Nissan Elgrand of similar size and and trying to balance the comfort v storage issue!

Howdy, thnx for comment, our other choice was the El Grand,, the width is 103cm or 40.5 inches wide

Will a Toyota main dealer service the Alphard being it is imported as I do like your Campervan, I have had Toyota cars for over forty years now and never had a breakdown, like your video thanks.

Hi, thanks for comment, fortunately for us, our friend is a Toyota served mechanic from our local dealership, we have not had any issues re parts etc from the dealership, so I presume they would carry out a regular service.. They are great to drive with all the usual Toyota refinements, I've always been a Toyota guy aswell, so the Alphard was an easy choice.
