This is basically the hatchback version of Corolla E150. I don't know much about the Kenyan market, but here in Holland there is a preference for hatchbacks because they are more versatile in carrying cargo. You can carry longer and larger items, because of the larger opening at the back, especially after folding the rear seats. A small sedan like the Corolla is limited in this aspect. When you can only own 1 car, a hatchback is normally the better choice.

I have driven an Auris before and I can honestly say I loved that car, it didnt feel small or light, its actually carries its weight well and drives very well and its fast too. It's generally a nice car to be honest I cant hate it..id rather get this than an axio.

Any model that falls in the corolla hatchback lineup ie.(Runx, Allex, Auris, Corolla hatchback) is costly across the world, may be a lot is spent in design stage to stand out for corolla hatchback lovers irregardless of whether the value makes sense to the users

The Auris is the sports Corolla - it's essentially a Corolla (size, engine, price point) and the 2016 model is same wheelbase as the Axio, but slightly wider stance. It looks better and looks sell (ask Mazda) but all in all, it's a proper solid car, some weighing in at 1.4 tonne stock. That said, the lower trims shouldn't cost as much as they do and just ride on the higher trims

My attention has been drawn to the general slander on Auris cars, okay I get there are those basic ones and yes it shares some components with the sweet mother Corolla (one of the best-selling Toyota cars of all time). I have a 1.8 L Auris 2010 and it has the 2ZR-FAE Manual transmission and I can tell you it's not your run-of-the-mill car... It's zippy and drives well. I can't tell you how many times I have had guys in bigger better cars eating my shorts every time I am coming from Eldy, especially at that long stretch of Kinungi climbing lane

A good product sells that translates to high demand hence the price tag. It fits most of the consumer needs locally. Have driven a golf, axio, fielder, premio, and auris. Auris for what it is , is one of the more stable Toyotas. Its way superior to vitz, axio and even premio in terms of stability on the road and safety features. Which axio of that generation packs stability control, 6 airbags, efd etc. In terms of size its wider than the axio, fielder and premio. What makes it short is the small boot. I suggest you redo this review and not bash a car without looking at things with a magnifying glass.
