For all those who would like to wrap the center console trims to carbon fiber or any other styles, or add some cool ambient lighting, here is a video on how to remove them all.

Great vid as always. While you had the cup holders out you could get a 12v LED bulb and hot glue them to the "tabs" on each cup holder. You probably seen the pics on the c-hr forum.

I also do vibration isolation of doors and trunk, I also have a subwoofer and I think it is made of plastic, it is not glued with vibration isolation ..

Hola. Tus tutoriales son realmente interesantes y necesarios para aprender. Desde que compré el chr, al circular por calles que no estan realmente lisas, me incomoda oir un ruido en la parte trasera derecha del maletero como si algo golpease en plastico o chapa. Mi intención sería desmontar los paneles del interior del maletero pero ni idea de por donde empezar. ¿Me ayudas? Muchas gracias.

Great videos Rajeev and thank you for them. Do you think you can do ( if possible) a one with instaling a sentry cam ( like Tesla has) or how to put your key on the phone and use it to unlock lock the car? Hope these are possible. Cheers

Sentry Cam is something we can think of. But with current technology development I don’t think putting key on phone to unlock car is possible. But I did develop an android app to lock/unlock car remotely. But this requires a device to be fitted to the car that holds a sim card with data connectivity

Sorry, didn’t get your question. Are you asking if RCTA can be manually activated? I guess this is automatic and will be activated only when car shifted to reverse gear

No i can not switch on from pannel...only can activate BSM. but for switch on RCTA i dont have OPTION

Have you change your 12V Aux battery? May I know what what battery size

I haven’t, but know many who already changed. They say if you don’t have any extra fittings that draw more current from your battery fitted to your car, better go for same AH battery. Car owners prefer AGM battery here in Singapore 😀

Rajeev Velikkal AGM is more for start stop car with alternator. Our hybrid chr only uses six battery to power up ECU & provide power for accessories. I see that only DIN45 has the right width 175mm for chr battery clamping platform

thanks. gonna wrap the centre console directly. I have wrapped the stick on trim instead and I didn't like that its clearly a gap between.

While doing it also add some lighting to your cup holders, there is actually slot in there, buy some colour changeable led strips and install in one go
