Vehicles are So Damn Expensive anymore and They are Not Even Big Enough to Sleep In While You’re Spending All and More of Your income on 60 Year Notes , if a Bank will even offer you Credit these Day’s , One of my sons had Proudly announced to Me That He Bought a Used Pickup Truck From the Dealership and I Instantly Informed Him That He Doesn’t Own anything , The Bank owns the Damn Thing !!! Finally I was very excited to see an affordable -$8000 compact size Toyota pickup truck until I found the listing by states of retail prices at the Toyota Dealerships. I live in NJ and the suggested retail price for the 2024 Toyota Stout starts at 28,000 being in the top 95% of the most expensive price in all 50 states. WHAAAT’S !!! up with that TOYOTA?So much for an affordable pickup truck.

Perhaps what you were looking at is Toyota's answer to the Ford Maverick. Any "$8000" pickup - or even twice that - is more likely to look like the one Toyota made in the early 1990's and before - single cab, 4 or 5 gear manual transmission, 2 wheel drive and none of the extraneous electronics they all seem to be enamored with.

@@timmoore9736 Toyota has the lite ace utility van , Trucks and mini pick up for 698 k pesos in the Philippines so that's 12,576 at exchange rate 55.50 where's its been hanging around the last year . I can't see a new vehicle in America for 8k .maybe this was just a clickbaite thing.

I bought a new stripped 88 model for 6332, Everybody else wanted the upgraded models, and they could not sell the cheap model, so they lowered the price every week till it was sold. First time I priced it they quoted 8500, so I waited and one day I drove by and the price was 6332, so I stopped by and bought it.

Probably a lease agreement on a base model cheapest truck made by Toyota and other manufacturers as well. The lease will be for one year with very high restrictions.

Probably for the 2025 model year (Mid to late 2024), also will probably priced closer to $25K and may be electric. If you're thinking a rehash of the Toyota Hilux - forget it!

i loved my older 78 hi-lux, it was a standard shift, 2.3 , sang near 30mph towing, anything i wanted to hook behind it. i would never by an electric. truck. it would have to have a full frame tow anything i wanted to tow. and now electric. if i could have the 78 Hi-Lux that would be my Favorite of all time.

This was already shared with the world and the big 3 ford, chevy are following up with their own. Back to basics for real. No power window or door lock etc. im thinking about how mad we should all be to have been screwed for years. I saw another video today Chevy was rolling out an $8K 2 door 2 wheel drive for the 2025 model year. I agree with a guy that said no $8K new truck will hit the USA market until the day a Live Bigfoot is introduced to the country. Another statement likely to be tru is shure $8K truck meaning $8K down payment and $800 monthly payment for 8 years. Id like to see a budget truck but dont see one coming to the USA

Good price $8K thats true my Bros for Hybrid. In Hybrid small investment capitalization for the Company since no heavy materials as internal combustion engine only the transmission, battery powered electric motor. Aside from that pick up is a 5 seater truck. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I am sure the price will be more than $8000 but if it has a reasonable price and has a 6.5 foot box I would consider it. Most trucks now all have these small 5 foot boxes , not good for hauling anything in them !
