Hi Linda I drove forklift for 17 years and can still remember how I looked forward to the annual or sooner tire change .Really saves your back and neck if you do a lot of driving backwards as I did.

Pretty cool to see other industrial tyre players setups and procedures. You want to be around when you press 22x10x16 or bigger those bangs will wake you up 😂😂. Keep up the good work guys, might have to load up a video of some of the work we do here in New Zealand

Wow. That's the first time I've ever seen tires on a lift truck changed before. When I bought mine (used) they installed new tires. Seeing the price, I'm glad they did! I've used it for 10 years now with very little noticeable wear on them. In my cabinet shop it doesn't get much use - maybe once or twice a week and our floor is like glass. Once a month it gets outdoors on the pavement. I probably will never wear mine down given the use. Thanks for enlightening us - it was a pleasure watching this video.

Used to do the same on Hyster S series forklifts.Tires we used had a wear mark on the side of the tire,drivers would sceam bloody murder when tires wore down to the mark.We had an air powered press that maxed out at about 85 tons.Often would have to use all the pressure that it would put out to replace tires.Hyster drive wheels had the brake drum and wheel cast as one solid piece,so they were heavy and expensive.One time our press would not press the old tire off,had to take the whole setup to a machine shop,have them saw into the tire then through the steel rim that the tire was moulded onto.Saved the brake drum got the tire mounted every body happy.Scared the s..tout of the machinist when the steel rim broke,though.

Been doing these tires for close to 40 years on crown,yale and other types of electric forklifts. But with a 50 ton press

I pressed off my first set a couple nights ago- little 11 1/8" rims, man what a workout...silly project, saved a old 1963 truck from being scrapped, going to restore it and donate to a local air museum- they have a twin to it thats pretty worse for wear- this ones hideous looking right now, but has a low hour rebuilt engine, after redoing the steering and brakes, bodywork/paint, and a little hydraulic refurbishing, and tires of course should be good as new soon and not a whole lot of money spent...but gonna take some hours- should be both a useable tool for them, and fit their motif when decked out in fresh military OD Green- guys i work with think i'm nuts, but i hate seeing stuff scrapped just because its old... rebuilding the steer axle for now, front tires I may need to take somewhere they are 12 1/8 and a couple inches wider, heavy as heck hubs... restored a 1993 clark last year for the home garage- its kinda big, but really a nice truck, looks and runs like new...18" rims, thankful it had great tires on it, those bigger ones are pricey!

Got your money out of the old tires when they are worn down that far.

Using a nice Leader industrial Tire Press. Pressed the tires pretty fast , wonder if he works for a Toyota forklift dealer.

They got their damn money's worth out of those tires!

I’m not sure how much good is being done by greasing up the rim though as it’s an interference fit , to me the grease would just be pushed away maybe iam wrong
