This is some skillful driving ngl and you stayed in your lane despite the road being empty. This is sick, bro

Well to a parking lot i go to beat on my 86 lol... I've been waiting for vid like this to see what the car is able to do without totaling mine😂 great driving great vid 👌👌

Fun stuff, man. I only have 1 piece of advice and that's to try to relax your body a lot more and not anticipate the slide so much. By doing so, you can have a higher angle and a longer slide. The 86 is already so easy to control at slip angle, trust in the chassis and yourself and try to keep yourself relaxed and I bet you'll get even better. Have fun!

Del Puerto Canyon? Great driving and as someone else mentioned, thanks for staying in the lane. I’ve had a few close calls with people using the whole road and they weren’t even going fast enough to need it.

Sweet car, sweet driving. The car could do with some more front camber, couldn’t it? Sometimes you were able to provoke slight understeer

Looks nice! Is that Apple Car Play standard equipment or is it retrofitted? Can you share a link?

Yea CarPlay came standard

Have you disabled the fake speaker engine noise? Stock exhaust? Sounds great
@rickjames59986 ай бұрын
i dont think this or its subaru version have that.
@hhaste6 ай бұрын
@@rickjames5998 They do, they have a plug under the passenger side dash you can unplug, to disable the fake pumped in engine noise. It sounds bad with it on.
@AntonHu6 ай бұрын
Sounds like it's on, to me.
@alicekim73515 ай бұрын
Sounds off. The fake noise is higher pitch. I have one and immediately unplugged the ASC and installed Borla s type exhaust

Are you pulling the hand brake for some of the drifts
@roro3686 ай бұрын
You’re crazyyyy, I love to see this. Are you clutch kicking or?
@Kaiser-ks3yq6 ай бұрын
he initiates a lot of the drifts with the handbrake, as it allows you to drift at much lower (safer) speed, which as it's rear wheel drive you need to clutch in when you pull the handbrake to not stall the engine, from then on you can/should clutch kick (by building revs before firing the clutch up) to keep your drift going
@roro3686 ай бұрын
@@Kaiser-ks3yqthanks for the info! I’m always so hesitant in trying these maneuvers. Only time I slide the rear of my car is when I’m doing a u turn 😭
@ivanc236 ай бұрын
Like what Kaiser said, downhill entries usually just handbrake, clutch kicking or weight transfer entries are kinda too risky for a low power car going downward momentum on a narrow road
@roro3686 ай бұрын
@@ivanc23 did you watch any videos to learn? Or did you just wing it and learned yourself? I love my GR86 but would also like to learn how to push it to its potential and learn a new skill
@AI-Records246 ай бұрын
@@roro368you learn by doing, mostly. I always say to people get a quad, it’s just a smaller version of a car you can learn to drift at low speed easily and learn weight transfer that you’ll easily carry over to a car. By the time you’re finished it will be second nature.
@ThaDonJsuan4 ай бұрын
Wow. Great control. Did you pedal dance or do track mode?
@ivanc234 ай бұрын
everything off, just holding the TC button for a few seconds on the gen 2 cars will turn traction and stability off no need to pedal dance anymore
@AbsolutelyPsychotic6 ай бұрын
Impressive, but I would not try to drift on roads like that lol

touge means what?
@chaz96756 ай бұрын
it means mountain road or back road, originated from japan with its real meaning being like a road that's meant for transportation
