Yeah it had to be cause sheesh, didn’t think I’d be able to just completely let off for a second or two and then get back on it and continue to pull away from him. I’ll definitely consider trying to find a 3.7 and see how the 86 compares to that 💪

@MartN187 haha, nah. I'm well aware they introduced independent rear suspensions in 2016. What is that, solid 60 years after they introduced the stang? Sounds like American cars to me. Give it another 60. Maybe they'll make one worth buying. The nice thing about American cars is you can always pick up a cheap Coyote for like $20, and swap it into something worth driving. Like a Porsche from the 80s, back when the Americans were making 8.4L V8s that produced 210hp. Speaking of rocks...

I mean to be fair it’s wasn’t a race bragging about I’m just posting some runs that I do with this car. I’m sure others are curious to see what It can do and so am I. Regardless of if I win or loose, I’ll post race videos so others can get an idea of how the car is and does against others.

‘94-‘98 Mustang GT was faster on paper, and theoretically the 4.0 wouldn’t come close on the street. I had a ‘98 GT (5.0) for a while. Slow as shit stock, threw BBK parts on and a tune and woke it right up. But even stock, nowhere near as gutless as the 4.0 😮‍💨

Even the 3.8 V6 in the ‘99-‘04 Mustangs were quite a bit faster. Had more punch down low than the 4.0

​@Justinackerman_ well the thing about the 86 is that it's a big ass Lego brick. And from my experience an incredible drift car. And due to its lack of weight compared to other vehicles and since it doesn't really have variants. It's basically your getting what you paid for. And it's amazing. The mustang has tiers so I can see why.

​@Justinackerman_ not quite I own a Mustang GT 2017 and loved the hell out of a Brz cuz the 86 wasn't available in my country. I believe it's a great platform to modify and to take it to track. It just I dunno it feels right.

Tbh I didn’t really post it cause I thought it was impressive, I just post whatever run I get in this car as a KZfaq short, just so others can get an idea of how fast the 86 really is. You would be surprised man, this thing has walked a lot of cars who said they would dust me in a race. Thanks for the support tho fam 💪💙

@@Justinackerman_ I like them. I owned a FRS when they first came out. The car is great, I can forgive the car for being slow but it should at least be relatively not so slow. My FRS was embarrassingly slow and it was sad because the chassis was so good. Felt like an injustice, granted the new one is still not fast but at least it is not slow either.

​@@postalpancho lol I raced some dude in one with a few mods on it with my stock accord. exhaust, intake and maybe a little more but I don't know. I thought he wasn't even hitting it till I gave him the hit, kinda a shame what they did to those cars. So much potential wasted with a weak engine. They looks great but the power is just lacking. Shouldve put something with atleast 250hp in it, then they would be a real ripper. Sure you could always boost it but that's alot of work most people don't know how to do.

I’m thinking about getting E85 on the car soon, so maybe I can find a 5.0 in my area who would want to do a couple runs together.

I’ll definitely keep an eye out to search for a run with a 3.7 near me, regardless of the outcome I’ll post it just so people can see truly what’s quicker. I’m not the type of guy to only post Wins, but so far that’s truly all it’s really been. I’ve lost to a couple cars, but they were shit I’d ofc loose too like a Audi r8, or a Kia Stinger GT with a decent size turbo. @@_gho_sst tbh homie, I’m not that big of a dig kind of guy. I’m really not tryna break something like an or some shit trying to get a quick 0-60 in the car. I prefer roll racing in this thing, just to not put so much stress on shit. Maybe I can do like a light roll in first and see what kinda time I could get. I’ll probably post it if I end up doing something like that. 💯💪

Tbh I never said it was a V8, all I said was that it was a S197 Mustang, which is the generation year of the car. It was for sure a V6 based off of the run in the video. I would love to maybe get a run in with a v8 stang in my area, I would assume I would loose. It’s all for fun though anyways man, I appreciate you watching the video 👏💙

The reason I’m shitting on your car is because I’ve noticed people with the most trash cars talk the most shit. Some kind of insecurity complex. I’ve owned some pretty decent cars like a c7 z06, bmw m2 and you’ll never see me going on KZfaq videos saying a car is slow and mine is faster. It’s not like I’m going around trying to find specific year and model cars, I happen to run into this dude in traffic and he wanted to get a run, so we lined it up and this was the result. I don’t post these “race” videos to brag or to show off, I post them so that people can get an understanding of how fast the 86 is and what the car is capable of against some other cars in a straight line. I know that’s not what this car is designed for, but I’ll definitely make sure to post some videos when I take the car to Sebring.

You can tell in the video that we were lining it up to race, I swear the car is completely stock. All it has is a Catback exhaust, which isn’t really adding much HP, if any at that.

From the feedback from this video, I believe this was a 4.0 V6 mustang which is why the car was so slow. I’ll definitely try to get a run with a s197 5.0 or S550 5.0 and see how close of a run it is between the two cars.
