Yes , agree. Excellent video .Easy to follow instructions , no tools needed . My problem was not a clog in the hose itself, but in the conduct before the hose . I inserted a flexible metal wire ... and out came the "soft" clog and a lot of water.

100% worked! Thank you! I didn't have air but used a garden hose with a jet setting for high pressure. Black stuff came out while removing the hose. All steps matched my 2017

Thank you much for the video. I had a very similar problem that your solution led me to find, but the tube itself was not clogged. I pulled the tube off and blew through it and it was perfectly clear, however, the reservoir itself had a clog just upstream from where the tube connected. I used a straw cleaning brush and poked it into the reservoir and it let loose with lots of water. I don't actually understand how junk gets in there, but there was quite a lot of dirt and even fragments of pine needles. To really clean it out well, I pulled my garden hose up to the car, hooked the AC drainage hose back up, and backwashed water through the drainage hose into the reservoir multiple times before all the water draining out was pretty clean. I would suggest this as lots of junk can build up in there.

instead of taking out the tube, I just squeezed the length of the tube a few times and it seems to have unclogged the system. saw a bunch of water come out. thanks a bunch for this guide. my car was soaked for months and I thought it was my moonroof again.

Thank you so so much!!! Our car was totally flooded. We drained like ! bucket ! of water. Now I would suggest taking partially out the carpet and there are drain holes on the floor plugged with rubber plugs. If you parked the car front down and open the plugs the water will go out. You still have to carefully dry everything to avoid mold.

Excellent video, thank you for posting. The tube was clear, but the drain pan was backed up with debris. As soon as I unclogged it with a piece of wire, about 4 cups of water poured out. Definitely make sure you have something to catch the water. Thanks again!

Worked for me. Tube was not very clogged but just inside where to tube attaches there was a clog. I poked it clear with the end of a pen and about a half-gallon of water drained out.

Super. Did the AC drain plug cleaning myself after watching your video. RAV4 2007 2 litre petrol. IT was nota the hose but the clug was rather in the white plastic rezervoir. Push some cable tie inside and then quickly connected back hose. Nice pool under the car and no more water inside my Toyota. Thanks.

Can also spray foam evaporator clean through that stub opening to clean that nasty ac odor from the evap. 👍🏻

This is fantastic. Fixed my problem in about two minutes. Do not forget to clear debris from the drain plug too. That is where most of my debris was.

Thanks was getting a swishing noise while turning and my carpet was wet. Got the hose out and there was a clog in it. Hot day out so going to let the insides cook for a while to dry out hope it solves the issue. Pretty simple fix.

thanks for the vid, I "unclogged" it with a straight rod and when flusing it out no debris came out of the hose but had high output. I wonder if a spider or something was inside it. I had that happen with the evap hose, it decided to make it's home in it and would make filling gas annoying.

I had a similar issue with my pruis thanks to a mouse deciding to chew apart my cabin air filter. Got everything all clogged up. Now my gf had an issue with a mouse ik her ac fan of her rav4. Got the dead mouse out and replaced the cabin air filter(not chewed) blew out the drian hose but am still having an accumulation issue in just past the drain hose. I blew medium pressure air into the hose and could hear air bubbles blowing in water. It created suction and drained the water but it seems like its immediately building back up when i run the ac

Hmm, I have all the same symptoms everyone else in the comments is describing, but my drain line was not clogged. I gave it a cleaning anyway just in case so I hope that fixes it

Hello, again. Your video solved my problem, thank you, again. However, now the AC Blower works intermittently, usually works in the morning but stops after some time. It was kind of wet around the blower for some days. Any idea what can work...not work...and work again next day ? Clearly it is not a fuse, those do not repair themselves. Thank you!!

What if the tube is not clogged? My car is doing all these things, leaking, swooshing noise, etc. I have pulled apart the tube and there is no blockage. Any more suggestions?

So, my 2021 Rav4 was leaking all the water. I heard the swishes. I took these tubes out. Caught a bunch of water that came out initially as you said it would. But when I got the whole drain pipe out, there was no blockage?!? Any ideas?

This seems to be an issue with every model they make and it seems to be all the way back to 1992 when I stopped looking. I got 2020 camry still happening why wont they acknowledge that it's a manufacturing problem.

If you ever feel stupid, know that I let this do damage to the carpet in My brand new car because I was too stupid and lazy to look at it... After weeks of leaking, I finally saw this video, peeled back the carpet, and saw that the hose was simply disconnected. Hopefully I learn from this and wake the f****** up.
