Very well done motowagon. One thing I always thought Why Toyota did not use Suzuki BS6 petrol Engines and continue ETIOS model (both sedan and hatchback)?

Ladder on frame leads to reliability. Not sure changing it is a good idea. Innova may be comfortable but let us understand Innova sells because of its reliability.

One more negative is they don’t have idea about servicing all vehicles.. they are experts in servicing only Innova, crysta, Etios and fortuner.. I really had a hard time servicing my Yaris and during accidental damage they were unable to fix it.. a person from Bidadi visited the service center after escalations to fix the issues which was annoying during my ownership days.

As usual another SWOT analysis which I am sure Toyota India is going to watch and act upon like the previous ones that you have done for other manufacturers. You are not only helping the car buyers to make a right decision but also helping the manufactures to identify their weakness and threats and correct them and build more on their strengths and make use of the opportunities. Reliability and durability is no longer topping the list of strengths as people like to change and or upgrade their cars in less that 5 years as the market is flooded with cars offering more and more advanced features. So none of the car buyers wants to pay the extra premium for the durability provided by Toyota and stuck with the same vehicle for 10 years. As most of the leading manufacturers are providing extended warranty till 5 years people do not bother much taking risks. Also Innova and Fortuner are looking a bit dated inside and outside against the competition from manufactures like KIA , Mahindra and TATA with their aggressive designs and generous feature list.
