Toyota tacoma A/C diagnosis. vent only blows cold on driver side.

Күн бұрынI diagnosed an A/C system only blowing cold from one vent. found a huge leak.

It's the thermal expansion valve. That is the part it's leaking from the part costs between $25-$75 depending on manufacturer. It takes a few minutes to change then add freeon no need to add PAG because the was likely too much added in the first place to make the valve fail.

Thank you for the video. I just bought an '02 Seqoia and the left most vent does not have any blowing compared to the other vents. I had no idea there could be any further issues past a blockage or filter issue. Checking will ensue.

Thats exactly what my 2015 Toyota tacoma is doing , only blows cold air driver vent and hot on the rest of them
