Ha! right of the bat! Recently when I started shopping and checking reviews, I was like, Why does the tab have to be blue! I have used RAM for a long time on my bikes but anything that cleans up the look, I'm all for. Thanks for the side by side review.

I've been using a simple $30 qui charging phone mount that fits in a cup holder. I have loved it, but I want something mounted higher with cables out of the way. Your video is helpful for sure.

I was thinking more roads that not built for the amount of vehicles on them. It's almost like by the time the new road is constructed it's out of date on the capacity it can hold. We got to many people in some places. Thanks for watching.

Nice, it seems to lock in super tight. I would feel more comfortable with a Quack Lock on a dirt bike over the X Grip. Thanks for watching.

I don't typically have a case on my phone unless I'm doing something where I'm more prone to dropping/breaking it, so the Quad Lock isn't for me haha I use the Arkon mount. Kinda similar to the RAM mount but I can do it with one hand.

I missed the important part of how you connected the quad lock to the truck/3TPAM. Do you have the 'RAM Composite Double Socket Arm ' to connect the Ball joint of the quad lock to the ball on 3TPAM?

Yes, It is the Ram composite double socket arm with a ram diamond base ball mount. Ball mount on the 3TPAM to the socket arm, to the Quad Lock.

After seeing this I went out and bought a quad lock system for my 7plus. I currently run a phone mount that awkwardly requires two hands also. Hoping the quad lock clears up that minor annoyance

It has been great for me this week. I'm in and out of the truck constantly for work, kids practice and errands all day. I did have to get used to the right slant position for locking it in. It will take a little to get used to the feeling. Thanks for watching.

I have the ram mount too but looking to change it for the same reasons. Have you tested it out for off roading and if the quad lock holds really well?

To this date, it has never come off during my off roading/ trail rides.

How did you attach the ball mount to your dash?

Thanks for watching. The ball mount is a Ram diamond base ball mount screwed into the 3TPAM. Then a 4 inch ball socket extension, then the Quad lock ball mount to the extension. Hope that makes sense.
