I don’t like the 1794 interior either; however, I love my Platinum leather seats and interior. If the TRD Sport offered those seats and a sunroof, I would have got a Sport instead. I thought I made this comment already so if you see it twice, oh well.

I agree, the platty has a sweet interior Unfortunately I couldn't afford it at the time but really surprised on how good the katzkin looks and has hel up against my 6'4 300lbs frame!!

My 2018 Platinum’s drivers seat didn’t hold up as well as I would have liked but she, as well as this one were both leased. I want the leather to hold up in case I want to buy the truck.

I thought the katskinz seat covers, cover the factory seats without removing the cloth. Is that the only option is removing the cloth then covering?

I always buy Tundra work truck. The only complaint I have is the seats are always leaning too forward!! Every truck is the same. Anyone else fond this to be the case! Theres no suport under your lower inner thigh!

Its gorgeous but even the dealers on youtube recommend staying away from the perforated covers, nothing but issues. I hope you don't experience that. I love my Katzkin Leather. Be careful with using any cream conditioners because it will fill the holes and be a nightmare.

I have perforated in my Lexus, due to the air conditioned seats... They ended up developing cracks along the perforations...They are much weaker than solid leather. I will avoid perf from now on...

Ok I just built an ordered a 22 ram dually Omaha orange gorgeous to upgrade to black leather jumped the truck up $6,800 because you have to make multiple upgrade purchases ummm i don’t think so full leather kit eBay 6/800 hundred yes please thank you 😊

Lol. I agree the 1794’s interior does not appeal to me either; however, I’m with my second Platinum and I love the stitched leather. If the TRD Sport had those seats and a sunroof, I’d rather have the Sport.

Looks great but definitely not better looking than the TRD Pro leather seats. For 2 I agree this is awesome, but you should've at least gone cooled seats for that brutal southern heat. We know who has swamp butt after a quick ride to the grocery store lol

Imo, yes it does. My uncle purchased a 2021 trd pro and leather is by far better quality with katzkin, but yes the heated/cooled seats are sweet option that i dont have

@@jesusgomez14163 When you say quality are you referring to the smooth feel or the durability, like thickness of the leather? This is a truck ultimately. If you're not using it for work I assume you must be doing some outdoor activities in it? IMO I just think the better quality leather is not the smooth thin feeling leather. The Tundra Platinum also comes with different smoother feeling leather. And you really don't like the black leather with the red stitching on the TRD Pro? Man I dont know. One thing is for certain, you did it the right way, SR5 and buying your own leather.

@@loudnoises4627 I'm in construction so only time will tell and I'll make an update video as time goes but so far its softer and just overall durable, dosen't have the hard leather creases that my uncle's truck has being newer Regarding best choice, ehh... don't know about that

I went to their website and price was $1800 for mine. I'm going to buy them off ebay/Amazon for $570 and see if I can get local installer to do them for a lot less.
