It might work with a little effort and persistentcy...It that doesn't work, try double AA, if not, try triple AAA.... excuse my sarcasm, this guy it's giving you the right battery number.... Don't mickey mouse your stuff.... Merry Christmas to all of you, Best wishes and healthy coming year.

You're being told the correct battery - why on earth are you going against that and trying to reinvent the wheel? That is begging for problems. Use the battery Toyota engineered for the fob.
