Thank you. You are correct my friend. My Toyota Prado 2017 has the same removal for the lens cover. Once you remove it you can change the bulb. If you push to hard though it will push the holder up inside. If that happens there are 2 Push Tabs one on either end of the gray tray push them in and pull down. The fixture should come right out. PS don't Use brute force.
