People dont realize that its the torque that matters the most, early torque means easy overtake and easy climbs on hills.

@speedlab, this one has as a base of 95WHP and 2NR has 99HP at the crank. How did that happen that it ONLY lost 4hp? Was the 95WHP already tuned with Unichip?

Torque gains are interesting, more than double @2500rpm. Will probably be obvious to the butt dyno. I am curious for the transmission (especially automatics) though. With the added torque earlier in the rpms, will it lessen the lifespan of the AT? Since that torque was previously only possible @6000rpm. Or does it not really matter since this torque is only applicable on wide-open throttle scenarios? For daily driving where gas pedal is only partially pressed, is there less torque at same rpms?

Torque might be double but it's still small in the overall scheme of things So no effect on transmission life

This may be a dumb question. But will there be a performance gain if the intake, headers and exhaust remain stock?

If exhaust remains stock, will we still be able to gain an average of 15 hp? That double in torque at 2.5k rpm looks very very interesting.

Toyota brochure says that a Vios 1.3 has around 98hp and 1.5 has 107hp.. so if this 1.3 vios has gained 10-15hp with Unichip, does that mean this 1.3 is now faster than a stock 1.5 or even 1.6 @speedlab?

@@speedlabchannel4452 , I see but with all the HP gained from the unichip, this 1.3 should be a tad quicker than a stock 1.5 or 1.6 ? I’m thinking of buying a vios but couldn’t decide if I should get 1.3 or 1.5 but if you can put a unichip on a 1.3 engine and make it faster than a 1.5, would you suggest that I get a base 1.3 and then get a unichip installed for 35k that way I could save around 75k-100k?

Ano maintenance ng tuning nato saka totoo ba na mas may power nato sa stock 1.6? I want to get my Yaris 2014 AT remapped/unichip kailangan ko ng power coz I live in antipolo and Lge paakyat tpos Lge ako hirap sa akyatan. Thanks for your response in advance @speedlab
