Just bought a new Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited for under $50k. Great car.

Recently bought the grand Highlander platinum IMAX. Appreciate the video, lots of gadgets to figure out but really enjoying the car. Much more room than a standard highlander. IMAX has an incredible amount of power while still getting 29 miles a gallon and recently on a trip happy buyer! The part that is still hard for me to get my around is it takes 0W-8 oil!

Have had mine for 8 months and just discovered a few new things with your video! Thank you; love your humor too! Do you by chance know of how I could turn off the "driver inattention" button? When my husband drives it, the way his arm holds the steering wheel at 12 o'clock blocks the eye sensor and it's constantly alarming him. I looked in the manual that came with it, but haven't found it.

It’s a beautiful vehicle Jeff. Nice features and gadgets on it. However, after watching the LX 600 Lexus this grand highlander feels like an LE version. LOL

when using apple play, why do i usually loose my centre display map...not always, but most of the time unless i exit apple play, establish the centre map then reconnect apple play it shows up..is there a trick to keep that small centre display map active?

Hey there Jeff, great gadgets, great fantastic new SUV. But that’s where it all stops for me. I have been a loyal Toyota customer for 30 years and I bought my last Toyota three years ago. Was looking at another Toyota recently, and all of the Toyota dealers that I had visited, had no new car inventory, and the dealers were all doing this nasty trick to customers if they had any new cars on the lot at the end of the month, they would sell them all to their used car department, and charge more than MSRP. Or if you could find a brand new car, the dealer had added so many options to the car that it was definitely not worth buying and there was always a market adjustment especially for Toyota hybrid models. This is left a absolutely bad taste in my mouth about Toyota products, yes I would love to have this new grand highlander but I’m not willing to pay $5000 over MSRP for a market adjustment plus having to pay $5000 to dealer options that I never wanted on the car in the first place. thanks Jeff you always make fantastic videos.❤

I'm in Phoenix (but from Raleigh)- our dealerships here are marking these up with "Market Adjustment" fees... insane. No hybrids in stock. Does Raleigh Toyota have any Limited Hybrids in stock of the GH? I'd fly out and buy one, then drive across country if I had too.

The driver innatention sensor on the steering column is very annoying and it cannot be disabled as far as I know.

Only thing left for me is why dont toyota make some in bench seat too. I have a big family need that 8 passenger

I just purchased one a few days ago, GH Max Hybrid Limited and while it is really an awesome vehicle overall, there is one small or major problem, depending how you look at it. The fuel tank capacity and range Toyota advertises and is in the user manual is about 17.2 gallon tank with about 450 mile range. If you do some internet searches for Grand Highlander Fuel Capacity Issues or inaccurate, you'll find many are having the same issue, and it was a known issue with previous Highlanders and Rav 4. I basically can only fill the tank up on about empty to about 10 gallons, and it will only get about 370ish miles range. This is annoying, because it means more trips to the gas station and also, it was not disclosed to me this was an issue at purchase. ]When you pay about $60K for a vehicle, to a company that has been around as long as Toyota, you wouldn't expect to have this as a problem, yet, here we are... Toyota is falsely advertising a major feature with regards to fuel and capacity and needs to recall/make this right ASAP.

Why and how is Toyota having always a below average design?? Why always bad looking suvs?? Let’s hope and pray that Toyota’s designers retire soon.. it’s just ridiculous. Look at Range Rover or Mercedes, that’s how an suv should look like, and consider their interior too. If I have to choose between sharp and fun, and reliable and ugly, I will always choose sharp and fun because I want to be happy, proud and have fun with my car when I show up with it. Toyota will always be just forced on people, no one actually like their design or performance.

The prices in Canada are out of this world Include Kia Honda and Huyndai and Toyota These affordable cars for people now are priced like luxury brands Toyota grand high lander hybrid is 70k in Canada plus tax that’s 80k plus fees 82k If you finance 5 or 7 years total interest you paid is between 6 to 8k So basically if you finance this car in Canada in 5 or 7 years you paid 90k Fucking 90k for a basic Toyota suv Kia and Huyndai too Even if you buy it cash you paid over 82k Canadian People here can’t pay even rent and these brands that supposed to offer a good suv for money are now priced like German cars The regular version is 55k Are you kidding me ? 70k for hybrid for a Toyota suv? The most basic and low quality suvs now are 50k I for sure will never ever spend 65k on Huyndai palisade befoee taxes before finance interest and fees I ain’t paying 80k in 5 years for a car that I’ll be selling for 30k not even These are real numbers so in 5 years I paid 90k for a Toyota basic suv and if I sell it in 5 years I’ll get less then 40k So we supposed to lose 50k 10k a year in value and everything else to drive a Toyota low models suv? If I go to dealer pick up the hybrid for 70k after everything 90k My monthly payment will be over 1300 for what ? A freaking Toyota ? Even the low model is 55k before dealer fees and other none sense And interest rates here are 6% and up even for dam Huyndai Don’t waste your money and wait we have one Jetta we bought 7 years ago brand new for 25k include taxes 0 interest and heated seats sunroof I’m sticking to our old car I’m currently taking buses I don’t wanna speak for others but don’t throw your money to dealers that’s why their prices and companies pricing their cars high justifying it with some bs tech that most people don’t even use 10% of it and other lies about shortages But I do see online how there are tons and tons of cars not selling When I go on Kijiji I see all kind of brands and I mean a lot tons dealers parking lot full of cars sitting rusting and still don’t learn and companies not learning and going with their scam and bs prices I hope more people do like me wait I take buses and let companies and dealers keep making cars to sit on their parking lot and go back to normal and price their cars right Honestly no joke now days if you finance Huyndai Kia or Toyota decent suv you are basically buying a luxury car or paying for a luxury car while these brands supposed to or started as cheap brands with good quality affordable cars Some may not agree with me some may do but I’m not paying 90k after 5 years finance to lose more than half in value for a brand that give basic cars and suvs Kia put all These cheap tech in their cars and suv to tell people this is luxury while it’s not even close same as Huyndai same as Honda and Toyota All these brands slapping some screen on their cars and cheap material to say it’s luxury or high end since when ?
