Just want to say thank you. I’ve been a Tundra owner since 2007. On October 4th we were rear ended by an 18 wheeler and struck twice at 70 mph. More or less we were able to walk away! Awesome truck, loyal customer!, We made it! Sadly my 2019 didn’t 😢.

After 3 weeks and 1000 miles on my 2024 Tundra (I Force 3.5L, TRD Sport 4x4, Sport Premium package, Crewmax, 5.5 bed) consider the following: Pros Electronic steering is great, tightens at highway speeds, looser at low speeds Transmission very smooth Excellent power at low RPM, Sport mode is truly something that will get your attention 19.2 MPG average over a mix of highway and town Quiet at highway speeds Seats very comfortable Transfer case shifting very smooth (4H, 4L, etc.) Materials seem to be good quality, seats, molding, trim, etc. Handling is very, very good for a truck (steering, cornering) Cons Had to refit a piece of the window trim that was loose from factory, unacceptable QC from Toyota on this 22 gallon gas tank is a loser - Toyota really screwed up with 22 gallons being the base tank size Radio does not mute when using Apple Car Play for voice messaging, music/radio keep playing HAVC controls are not ideal, hard to see in the daylight On fan speed 3 and above there is a whistle noise from the defroster Auto start stop must be disabled every time you start the truck, should offer a way to permanently turn it off Cannot comment in reliability or durability in just 1000 miles.

Toyota has abandoned its principles. People loved them because their designs were simple, easy to repair, affordable, and long-lasting. The new Toyota Tundra is a complete departure from these values-complex, expensive to repair, less durable, and too costly for most people. This new complex design could mark the beginning of Toyota's downfall!

I absolutely loved all my 1983 Toyota Pickups!! Simple Effective Mechanical. Easily modified for Off-Roading, no unnecessary electronics or tech junk. Most new trucks have a massive ugly front grill, tires too small and way too many unnecessary bells and whistles. Trucks like this need 33" tires as stock minimum. 35" and 37" wheels from Factory with appropriate suspension would be appreciated! I want another Toyota but these don't look cool enough, have too much stuff I have no interest in. PLEASE make a simple, bare-bones, core-necessities only 4x4 model with no unnecessary electronics & no unnecessary Bells and Whistles. Look at the 1983 Toys for inspiration. The solid front axle on the Gladiator is attractive but they're over priced and over complicated. I'm ready to buy but I cannot find a Truck I like. That's a problem... So I'm sticking with my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab V-8 for another year!

Love my Truck...Now...Horrible purchase experience...Bought it and had it for less than 24 hours off the lot and it broke down...Manufacturing issue...a metal disk didn't get vacuumed out of the fuel line, choked the fuel pressure, caused the Cat Converter to melt, long story short, I didn't have my new truck for half a month...They fixed the problem, as they should, but it just doesn't sound like the experience you really want from buying a new car...FYI they (Toyota or the dealer) has not sent me my 2nd set of keys yet either.

Toyota Engineers/Top Executives- “We have five recorded Tundras with 5.7L installed and over a million miles recorded on original engine. Let’s steer away from what works and fold to the green agenda” Keep in mind ladies and gentlemen, these people have college degrees, and are suppose to meet “requirements” before being hired. Degrees are working super well with real great decision making. A high school student could advise not to steer away from what is working. How ridiculous can a company actually be?
