It was so hot out the day we filmed it and we were trying to get all the stuff out quickly before an employee came out which it why it seems a bit shaky! Also, we have noticed the microphone records weirdly on our phones (iPhone 8 plus) so if anyone has anything that can help the audio sound better let us know! And if anyone knows any ways to make the video more stable please let us know that as well! We aren’t sure why the videos have been coming out the way they have been recently but we are assuming it’s just the phones camera.

Screw companies policies. They went bankrupt and cease to exist. All of that could've been donated. It's so infuriating seeing how heartless companies can be. Brand new clothing, baby essentials etc... Seriously makes me sick seeing all that just tossed out like trash.

The liquidators ought to be ashamed!!! I volunteer at a woman's shelter and it is so sad to see what these women and their young children have gone through. Great haul! I'm so glad all that good, usable stuff didn't end up in the landfill! It's infuriating that so many retailers are so wasteful! I've worked at several retail stores, and instead of actually donating the usable returned items they insist on throwing them away. And as an employee we weren't even allowed to donate the items or keep them ourselves. Wasteful! No wonder Toys R Us went out of business. Bad decisions were obviously made, a lot! Great video!! Keep up the dumpster diving!

There are many poor Children who will be blessed with some beautiful clothing and a few Toys as a result of your dumpster diving, which does not look easy:)!!! My greatest memories of Toys R Us are from my Childhood and during the last 3 months of Toys R Us going out of business sales. As a Kid, my Late Grandfather bought me a Ms. Pacman Mini Arcade from Toys R Us and I still have it. My Ms. Pacman still works with batteries to this day!! Also, I am an Adult who likes to collect Toys as a hobby. I bought 2 Puppy Surprises ( Amy and Lexi) on sale, a Purple Animal Alley Unicorn, and Geoffrey, the former Toys R Us Mascot. It is profoundly sad that Toys R Us is no more:(. I just pray that someone will step up and create another Toy Store in the U.S.

You two seem to have so much trouble opening those boxes. Here a useful trick, use your car keys/house keys they will cut right through the tape, no fuss, no muss.

Hi, I heard u say in a lot of ur videos that u donate this things, I think that's absolutely fantastic that u spend time out of ur day to do things like this. Due to my husband passing away n with him being the sole bread winner n we both decided that when we found out I was pregnant I would stay home n I loved the idea of being a full time mom. He was a carpenter/ painter n he wasn't making what he knew he should be so we sat down n decided he would start his own company n it we would b struggling for a lil bit until he would get the clientele bc it took money to buy all his own equipment, so I became sick during this time n he went to pick up my prescription n got caught in gang cross fire, he was shot once n was DOA by the time the police came I found out later that night (7 hrs latet) I was going crazy bc he never came back, n that wasn't like him at all. long story short our daughter n I had to start selling everything we could that was worth anything (we have no family, both sides have passed away), ended up losing our apt I couldn't n still can't find a job, im 43 yrs old n I haven't work in 15 yrs, we have a 14 yr old daughter n we tried going to a shelter n it was terrible dirty, bed bugs, roaches n my daughter n I woke to her shoes missing. This has been so hard on her, her grades have dropped, we r on a waiting list for government housing n that should b happening within the next 2 months. Oh, I forgot to tell u when he passed I was 2 months pregnant n I am now 6 1/2 months n we stayed on the train during the winter so my daughter could sleep n b warm, n now we r staying under a bridge, I cut the chain link fence enough for us to get in n out n I have a chain with a lock so I can lock it up as we sleep or for when we leave. It's been the safest we've been seen we lost our place n her father/my husband. Never take one minute for granted always tell the person u luv, u luv them b4 u leave. My life was drastically changed in an hr. If u donate to people n would like me to further prove what I'm telling u by video of where we r staying, I would definitely send it to ur email, if u could find it in ur heart to donate what u could bc I won't b able to afford to much of anything for the new baby. It's not that easy to find clothes for my daughter n I at the churches but what we do get we make due but there's next to nothing for babies n the few pieces of clothing, I can't believe they even put it out to give away!! I haven't found anything to put the baby in yet to sleep as far as n crib or playpen no highchairs nothing but I would think clothes for a baby girl would b easy but it hasn't, I never realized how there's NO HELP AT ALL OUT HERE FOR THE HOMELESS in chicago!! well, that's some of our story if u could/would find us worthy of any type of help i would be so totally grateful (I can't even believe I'm having to do this) but I've been told close mouths don't get fed. As I said if u need further proof this isn't a scam I'll email u where we r sleep under the bridge. I get on line every night when we go to McDonald's to wash up/brush our teeth for the night, I have a government phone n I don't have Internet so I tap into McDonald's so I can watch videos. Either way u r great girls with big hearts to do this for other people, God bless u.

Watching this makes me want to cry, I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old and this year has been so hard financially and we’ve all had to go without and to see stuff that could help others that were in the same situation is just heartbreaking!

Use the pallet to climb up. box cutters work better than false fingernails to cut the tape.

What you should guys do is that in every different dumpster, get literally everything out and the things that don't work or are trash, put them back in the dumpster so you make shure that you got everething and have more treasures haha Great videooooo, gonna miss toys r us

It costs money to donate. You need people to pack and load and drive trucks. You need people to coordinate the pickup. And then you have to take it somewhere. All of that costs money. I’m glad people dive and rescue these items.

Omg this bugs me so much! They could have donated ALL of that to moms in need or low income families! As a single mom of a 3 year old and 1 due any day struggling financially, I work at a local pregnancy care Center and volunteer to help other moms struggling our facility could use so much stuff like what you’ve found and other facilities around the world!!

Toys r us really has disappointed me. They should have donated that to shelters or clinics to young moms or struggling moms who couldn’t afford this stuff. They would have done so much good for the world with donating it but instead they threw it in dumpsters. 😒

As an avid garbage truck fan who enjoys watching them at work, I unintentionally followed one to my former local Toys R Us. I was appalled to see more than five dumpster loads, of toys just be dumped into the truck. I chatted with the operator and the helper afterwards and said they could not salvage anything due to the policies of the hauler. Would have been more pleasant to watch them go to the Salvation Army. Never been so upset after watching one of my favorite pieces of heavy machinery at work.
