Can you set a specific Kelvin value without any effect and just dimmer it as you like on the app?

Hi, if I want to replace existing standard LED strips (no wifi) in my garden inside a cover connected to a transformer, is it possible? I turn the LED on and off normally with the switch like a normal light bulb. Thank you

Enjoyed the video, thanks. BTW, I had to crank up the volume to hear the audio. I turned on the captions, which helped me understand what was being said.

can you mix color’s in the tapo app? i just git them and i want to make my own color’s other than the ones there are in the circle i want to like mix them up can i do that?

Can you only do presets or can you customise the effect - like for example first half blue and second half of the strip pink ? Thanks!

Yes, from what I can recall, you can make your own scenes in the app and run them.

You can plug them into each other or make a group in the app to control all of them at once.

I love mine. I have 6 sets. Sadly tp link have told me they cant be linked to do the same scene at the same time. I have to control each one separately which is counterproductive for what they are purchased for.

Hi bro my issue is i put schedule for every day but when it turns itself it doesn’t pick the last color i was selected it turns on with white color. I tried everything

Hi if you loose the connection of wifi or power is down, and all is coming back needs to configure again or automatically is connected?

No, they will automatically reconnect. They reset if they are clicked on and off 3 times fast. So if the power flickers a few times, it could reset them. I've had that happen.

Not that I know of. They can just be cut to a shorter length if needed.

@@BigCVlogs .. they Can be expanded, but you need to buy the connectors. In-line, right angle or T connectors available.

I cut mine n soldered it to be used in segments, it does not work. the cut off strip becomes unusable, i will be buying an led controller and try to see if it works

Can you cut only what is required and not use other portion. I read somewhere that we need to use the entire strip?

You can make it shorter but whatever you dont use is wasted.

Either from the app, or with Google Home or Alexa, or just with a regular light switch if you don't use the smart features.

I want to use this strip on places, where is no wifi. How to do this? I tried to connect the strip to my mobile hotspot, but no success. Do I need another phone with hotspot to connect the second phone with Tapo app to use it? It is so annoying. I thought I can connect my phone to the strip built in wifi and it will be working... Not that I have to connect it to my home wifi router. Want to use it "offline".

i bought this and I think i'm gonna face an issue where I need to make 90 degree turns. how did you do that? use any connector? or just bend the strip?

I didn't really make them turn. I just made the go from each side and taped them down.

If you cut the strip does the part you cut still turn on since it works off from WiFi

No, whatever you cut off can just go in the trash. It will be unusable.

did you know that you can scroll down and at the effects you can choose the effect and change it’s color? i made a rainbow effect with the colors i like better for example

I got the light strips from a friend who I'm not friends with anymore but when I opened it it didn't come with the connector or the plug so I don't know where to get them now

I would recommend Tp-ink support. They may be able to send you a replacement.

Yes, it has lines that you can cut to make it shorter.

Not into Multiple, but you can shorten it if needed and extend it with a 2nd one if needed. Maybe with a 2nd Power adapter you could make more than 1 out of 1 but Im not sure.
