Love this series guys! When i was 17 i got my first 4x4, a '93 Trooper RS. Since then I've owned a couple Jeep J10s, XJ, ZJ. Now I'm back with an '02 Rodeo 3.2l 5 speed 4x4. Are yall thinking of regearing? I suggest doing the Revo 3:1 gears in the transfer case. That'll help with crawling, and only affects the gearing in 4-low. No speedometer adjusting or anything. Keep up the awesome work!

Aww man! Do you still have the RS? Yeah, we have a set of Revo’s. Trying to locate some 4.77’s too. Thanks for checking out the video!

@@TrashPandaGarage I sold it to a friend who was in need. I told him I'd buy it back whenever he needed. He opted traded it in for the Cash for Clunkers deal. So it was crushed. It was a black 5 speed with champagne trim. It's in the top of my list of vehicles I regret parting with.

Sweet! I rocked OME 3 inch extended coils on my 01 isuzu rodeo out back and I couldn't have imagined a better ride and articulation abilities with such a simple and affordable upgrade. Factory torsion bars were used and cranked to raise and match the rear. I ran cheap rs9000xl rancho shocks all around and it rode better than any other 4x4 I've been in, so, I can only imagine how much better these things can ride and perform with a few more bucks put into the suspension build.

That's awesome! I've been eyeballing the OME coils for the rear. Right now I'm trying to fabricate an adjustable track bar for use with the coils. Thanks for watching!

l have an 01 Rodeo and lm gonna start sum mods this spring. lm shocked at how good it is stock. Comin from solid axles past. lve looked at an Ole Man Emu kit for 3"s and Lines and track Bars etc. Kinda hard to kind the kit now, tho. l saw a Cal Mini kit once but cant kind it again.

The rear axle is essentially the same as a Jeep jk non rubicon, so you can get 4.56 gears, and for the front use the third member out of a 88-97 trooper, that will match the rear gears.

Nice tires guys! I'd definitely reccomend adding in an auxiliary transmission cooler (or two), installation is super easy and will help convince that 4L30e to cooperate. Looking forward to the suspension video!

That's good advice. The aux transmission cooler seems like a must at this point. I've been looking at a few different types. I'm hoping that a cooler, appropriate differential gearing and an attempt at minimizing how much extra weight we add to the build will make the 4L30E cooperate. Thanks for the feedback!

@@TrashPandaGarage NP! I'm running 32's and I've got two of the hayden units precooling the fluid before running to the stock cooler, and temps seem to stay in the desired range. Be sure not to run it "after" the stock cooler or it could keep the fluid too cold on the snowy days we get

That's great! I have the same tyres on my 02 rodeo aswell I have 265/70/R16 cuz that's the biggest that I can use before I need a body lift, u might need a front diff drop kit So the ifs angle its right and don't break the CV's

What do you think of the Maxxis Razr AT so far? I'm hopeful they turn out to be a good tire. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm guessing we'll end up going with a 1 - 1.5" diff drop.

There are ( factory) 4.30 gears out there but dont know if they will work w the Lockers tho. l know the 4.10s will.

This truck came with 4.10s. 4.56 and 4.77 should be an option as well as 4.30, if we can source the gears that is. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
