Thank you so much for all of the Birthday Wishes! 🥰🎉 I also wanted to point out that thanks to those bringing it to my attention, the Scalp products in the yellow bottles are particularly recommended to use when hair is in braids and/or braided in cornrows under a weave. That makes PERFECT sense as to why I felt like I would only like to use it on my scalp but not the lengths of my hair. 👍🏽👍🏽 I’m also very aware that Taraji has her natural hair under her wigs and weaves that needs to be taken care of, I personally just have seen her w/o her natural hair waaaaay more than with. BUT! I’m ALL FOR ANYONE making more natural hair products 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I don’t care who you are lol ... Taraji just isn’t a name that INSTANTLY comes to mind when I think of natural hair like Tracee Ellis Ross, Tia and Tamara Mowry or Issa Rae... but HEY! I LOVE Taraji and I’m glad she joined the party. 🤗❤️

I think the nozzles are like that bc they’re meant for people washing their braids under weaves and wigs. That’s probably why it’s watery and not good for detangling

TPH hair was extremely long before she cut and colored it. Her products came about because everyone wanted to know how her hair was so long and she wears protective styles all the time. The products are intended after you come out of or are in a protective style.

Honestly it seems like a lot of KZfaqrs have it out for this brand. Try it for yourself y’all cause some of them work great. Especially that scalp scrub. Think people have gotten review brainwashed

The leave-in-conditioner is the truth. I LOVE it. I haven't tried her other products yet. I even got my mom and grandma the leave-in 😆 but I did warn them about the scent.

I started with the scalp products and my scalp LOVES them! I do agree that the yellow bottles are just for scalp and not hair. I'm a peppermint fanatic so the scrub is amazing to me. All of the nozzles give me life! Dandruff isn't a problem but I do have itchy spots. I can directly address those areas with the design of these nozzles. I left the shower feeling so light & refreshed by the head. I plan to return to Target to purchase more of the line. Your curls look fabulous!!!💖

I feel like the reason why people may not like them as much is because more than one product needs to be used at a time to get the result she may have as a vision. She went live and used about 3 or 4 of the products to style her hair. This threw me off but I feel that’s one reason. Plus I know you’re a one product kind of gal so this doesn’t sound like the line for you.

The products are color-coded so the yellow ones are made only and specifically for the scalp which is why there's no slip. If you want one product for the hair and scalp that would be the teal products you used at the end

Bianca,if you want an AMAZING scalp line I recommend the Kristin Ess scalp line. It's amazing, the only thing I didn't get with was the scrub but everything else is amazing!

The smell, THE SMELL!! The times I used this, it lingers on my hair well after drying even when I have used just the shampoo to clarify, the smell on me stays.....awhile . My results were good tho, got that nice cast and it was shiny and stupid defined. There may have been a tiny flake but overall not. The smell does prevent me from using it more often but not bad in my opinion. I just found out per THIS video the tiny ingredients stickers😂🤣😯Happy you reviewed them and shared. Loved this review!

Happy Birthday!!! I purchased only the Mint Condition because I have dry scalp and wanted a conditioner that works well to condition my scalp. It did that just fine and my only issue with this product is that after a month of having it, two of three of the nozzle tips have clogged and it is very difficult to get enough conditioner out from only one nozzle tip so they should definitely be a bit bigger.

You know how sometimes you wear perfume, the smell of your hair doesn’t really match the smell of the perfume. Because you hair might be smelling too fruity. I think the Tph line matches with perfumes well.

I’m 50 and I don’t want to smell like a man nor do I know anyone over 50 that wants to smell like a man. I myself hate harsh smells. Just thought I ‘d throw that out there since you commented on if you are over 50 and you are a grandmother you may not mind the harsh smell. And No I am not a grand mother and No I am not in my feelings I just think that is a GENERAL comment about a group based on their age. I think preference of smell is just a INDIVIDUAL thing not a age thing. You will see what I am talking about as you get older😏 You won’t be your age forever and your preference of smell may not change just because you turned a certain age. JS! Trying to find products that will give me time to allow my hair to go from locs to curls while waiting for the lockdown to be over. What turned me off was the cracks about over 50 and what we will tolerate as far as I guess “old fashioned” smells. That’s why I stopped shopping at the bath and body shop. I have wavy/curly hair but its relatively thick and I've always had scalp issues so I love the scalp collection. I have the scalp conditioner and serum and I use them in addition to my regular hair cleanser/conditioner, and I feel like they make a huge difference.

I looked at those products. I can’t stand the smell. Too strong of a smell gives me a migraine.

I just tried the two yellow bottles on my 4A/B dry hair. The smell initially is good, like that first whiff of Old Spice. Then, it becomes stronger and more potent . I think the strong smell is needed to mask the smell of all the strong herbal ingredients that would smell worst. I used the master cleanse first. It did lather a little but definitely stripped all the product build up after rinsing and repeating. I didn’t need another shampoo. Then I used the Mint condition. It was the strongest tingling I’ve ever felt. It was far beyond tea tree and it was great!! My hair definitely felt clean. The top is definitely for braids or protective styles because it just ran down my face like someone else said.

I got to stay with she and hubby and baby for two week then all hell broke loose COVID19. I miss my babies. Anyway, thanks so much for this review. Honestly, I was just curious about what you had to say about the product. I had no intentions of buying it because TPH is not a part of the natural hair community that I can tell. I love her as an actress but I just felt she was jumping on the band wagon. Now if Viola Davis had a line, I would seriously consider trying hers so long as the ingredients were right. But back to TPH, in her video about the products she stated that the two yellow bottles with the comb like tops are exclusively for the scalp. Please don't anyone come for me... I just recently received my TPH by Taraji products in the mail. In Canada the products are not available so I had to get my cousin to get them for me and I paid her back. Watching this video I have to be honest, I feel as if Bianca was exaggerating just a little for (viewers) benefit when explaining the scent of the products. True, it is possible that the scent of the products did bother her and she's allowed to have her opinion... but I smelled all the products and I honestly didn't mind it. I personally can't wait to try them on my hair and I hope TPH is finally released in Canada... I have noticed some of the reviews of the products have been more shade throwing than an honest review but again that's my personal opinion. There's a lot of products out there for natural hair and some are a miss and some are not, but we as individuals have to use what works best for our hair at the end of the day.
