Tom Kennedy was also hosting Body Language in the same studio @ CBS in 1985.

The $10k was visible right after he got it out of the hole, so he didn't stall the way Barker and even Drew to some degree does.

This isn’t the one from flight of the navigator even though Johnny does say “An exciting trip to Canada!”

@Zach Horan There was no guarantee all games were to be won!

Surprised the director or producer didn't somehow stop Tom sending contestant away before revealing the last two digits after loss

Is this the first time ever a contestant won more than $10,000 in Punch-a-Bunch? The other time this happened is in 2002 (Trevor won $10,500)

The Money Game playing was not optimal. A Money Game win on this episode wouldn't have even been enough to make the Showcase.

By the way, we heard that usual foghorn for losses and going over on the showcases and showcase showdown when he lost the car instead of just another ding.

You assume the $10K win was guaranteed. She could’ve just as easily won $50.

Now on Punch a Bunch, they don't have 2nd chance slips, that is on Drew Carey's PIR.
@robertbowman9842 жыл бұрын
They did on Barker's PIR

I got to say, Kathleen was a real head turner with that lovely 80s perm, low cut skirt, and high heels. If that was her husband giving her a hug at the end, he's a super lucky guy to marry such a beauty. Too bad the quality of this is so bad. How many times do I have to say this SP, STANDARD PLAY, NOT EXTENDED PLAY. Extended play should be for TEMPORARY RECORDING ONLY (stuff you are intending to tape over later). Anything long term should always be recorded on standard play.

Gene Wood would later take over for Johnny Olson before Johnny passed away.
