Unpopular Opinion here: We should cherish what we already have (Aka Winner). Before the debut, everyone was cheering for winner. He was extremely popular, but it would be only a dream for him to get in. Debut happens, now everyone is salty about their favorite character not getting in. I get your feelings, being a Snare drum fan, but we shouldn’t look down on Winner because of it. I personally don’t think its the younger fans are ruining the show now, no, I think the people who ruin the show are the people who constantly complain and whine for no apparent or real reason, while riding a hate train because you liked something better from what you got. Grow up. Its fine to not like a character. I don’t like Salt Lamp. Period. But its NOT fine to mass hate a character BEFORE we really get to know them, and to mass hate a character because you liked another character better. Give him a chance. Everyone deserves a chance. (hopefully including the other recommended characters)

After TPOT 1 thoughts: I was originally hoping for Leek, Onigiri, PDA, Income Tax Return Document, or Price Tag to win, luckily 1 of them got in. I like all of the recommended characters except for Nonexisty. About Winner’s controversy: I feel like it was still pretty unfair to judge Winner so harshly before TPOT 1. Everyone hated them because they were the opposite of Loser, and now look at them. They seem like a great character so far. I will admit, I was a little salty how most of my initial favorites lost by such a long shot. Though, Winner did turn out to be good in TPOT 1 (along with Price Tag obviously). In David’s case, David was most likely voted for being a non-object and seeming funny, but the joke got old and he turned out to be a terrible character. Personally, in BFDI’s debut, I would have chosen Book or Ruby to join if I knew their personalities beforehand. We didn’t know Winner’s personality, or anyone’s personality. We just voted for who was the most charming. About Nonexisty: Personally, I don’t see how people like him. He’s literally nothing, and the only people who say they like him, only like him ironically. It’s a similar case for characters like Rocky or David. I’m glad he didn’t get the most votes, because apparently it’s confirmed that he would have joined if he had the most votes. About Price Tag/the double debut twist: I’m glad that Price Tag made it in instead of Nonexisty. We were cutting it really close, and they never would have made it in if either Nonexisty counted as 1, or if the twist never happened. About Sotp Sign: It’s still surprising how Sotp Sign didn’t even have a chance to debut, since he was very popular back then. If he was up for debuting too, then I think him and Winner would have joined. Miscellaneous thoughts: •I expected Camera to get lots of votes because they had appeared in IDFB and some BFB episodes while also having a bit of a role, like saving iance from elimination. However, they didn’t get that much votes. •I also expected characters like Waffle, Tune, and Lego to be up for debut too, since they were in BFDIA. •I’d love to see a season 6 with all of them, even Winner and Price Tag who already made it in. Maybe Total Drama Aftermath-esque episodes featuring them and eliminated contestants from TPOT. •Conch Shell looks really emo. •According to Scissors’ audition, it seems like it’s tradition to hurt Woody in your debut audition. Probably don’t do this, though. •PDA probably says “m’lady” unironically. •KidsReviewToys
