I stumbled upon this video by accident while watching one of your other videos.I was very surprised as I never thought I would see myself on the illustrator channel. I thought your approach of dividing the hair into several blocks to capture the 3D effect was a very good technique.I was doing the same thing unconsciously, but I would like to explain the same method when I teach someone how to make hair. Thank you very much for the great video.

Where there's a will, there's a way. I think tppo has enormous willpower and motivation to complete goals, so anything is possible! It's inspiring, honestly. I rarely follow through on projects I'd like to complete. This keeps me going and striving to see my ideas through!

As a 3D artist working in games, im really impressed with how quick you picked up ZBrush. Even with an art background like yourself, sculpting is a really difficult skill to get to grips with so what you managed to make in such a short amount of time is really amazing. Well done!

This guy just did this out of sheer fucking dedication, if tppo has a million fans, I am one of them. If tppo has ten fans, I am one of them. If tppo has only one fan, that is me. If tppo has no fans, I no longer exist. I will love and support tppo until my very last breath. You don't know how much you inspire me to learn stuff, keep up the good work.

Tppo, You know when you jump into a youtube video and it feels like just a single video, to me your videos are not like that, instead it feels like a journey, watching your videos from the beginning and now, feels like a journey where your skills are growing, your editing just gets better and better at really keeps the attention in a flow, and your narration on how you tackle a problem one by one just puts everything together. with new videos you upload it just made me wonder "where will he go next? what will he make?" and "how will he do it?", and it really does made me happy to see someone learn, experiment, and create, wether the project is big or small, too big too chew, or too niche to learn. as long as someone is passionate and explain things with their heart, I really love to hear how they do it. Congratulations on learning 3D, it looks wonderful and really made me breathe looking at it xD Can't wait to see what you make next! also My favorite 2D/3D arts are from SSS by Applibot, Yoneyamai-Sensei is a member of it but previous to Yoneyamai-Sensei's Exhibition, SSS by applibot did an Exhibition as well and they did a lot of things where they turn 2D to a 3D experience, every artists there are such pro and made such wonderful pieces, one of my favorites would be PALOW-Sensei's "Allequal", Taiki-Sensei's "Mimesis" and of course, Yoneyamai-Sensei's "RAY - Dawn".

ye, especially since Tppo jumped straight into Expert triple plus difficulty by picking Zbrush for both modeling & texturing LMFAO. I’d recommend Blender regardless of which approach you take but there’s two schools of thought for mesh construction: poly modeling & sculpt+retopology. Poly modeling is doing it raw, polygon-by-polygon while sculpt+retoplogy is starting with an initial sculpt and creating a retopologized mesh on top of it. Each have their pros and cons depending on your target.

Honestly this is really amazing, especially for a first attempt. In the future if you'd still like to work with 3D, I'd like to see you take on NPR renders since you're probably already familiar with the rules of NPR shading, but seeing you tackle the behind the scenes of making said shading work would be interesting. Also a bit of critique: To elevate this render even more, you could manually add shadow to the top of the eye socket and her teeth. Nonetheless, great work!

Oh my god, watching you slowly descend into insanity dealing with 3D software was like looking at myself 2 years ago 😭😭😭 Does that mean im a pro at 3D now? NOPE My journey has led me to eternally hate 3D, and only use it when I have to 🥲 I managed to do the things I wanted to do with 3D like u are doing now (animations, VFX, games) although they were pretty shit 🫠 And now….I’ve thrown in the towel ⚰️ I’m sticking to painting and drawing 👋 I wish you luck on your journey sir🫡 I hope you experience all the fun (and also all the suffering) of doing 3D ❤️❤️

You know it's gonna be a Tppo banger when he busts out the classical music. Also, I fully relate to using a program for weeks, even months (cough, cough Maya) and still having trouble figuring out how to rotate without wanting to jump off a building. I envy people who use Zbrush so effortlessly. This is why I stick to 2D animation.

Can i honestly talk about how clean the editing is?? It honestly captures your attention especially with the subject matter, and very effective in presenting its information in an interesting way! Other than that, i’m honestly in awe at the effort put into this video and honestly your art videos are very inspiring and fantastically presented! I love your videos and thank you for making them. They’ve honestly helped me to hone my analytical skills, and not just for art! And I get to learn a lot from your learning journey! Kudos to you :) Edit: I’ve also found (not just from your videos) that it honestly helps if you don’t only focus on replicating other artists, tutorials are a great way to learn too! To learn how to draw anatomy and other art fundamentals/basics and etcetera, you can’t only learn from other artists and self-study is very important! Such as analysing what areas you’re weak in, which can be applied to other things than art :)

Hello there ! I'm a 3D animation student and I'm quite impressed by what you did in such short amount of time. 3D can indeed seem very difficult at first. There's a lot of technical words in it but when you do manage to understand what you are doing, things get way easier. What I can say about some mistakes you made (with the straight line on the side), it's because of your UV maps. Imagine having a cut on the side of your UV (made to unfold them flat in order to paint on them). Well... The straight line here is the cut :D (You could have hide it on the other side but for a first try, it's really good ! I'm very happy to see you highlight 3D animation/sculpting in very simple words. If you need any help in the future, I'm sure we (students or professionnals) could gladly help you with softwares (especially Zbrush which is not the easiest one for a complete beginner) Again, congrats on your project ! It's quite inspiring and I will maybe do something similar with one of my drawing thanks to this video !

What a fantastic video and edit...that part about the joints had me rolling. Gotta appreciate your sheer determination and curiosity to tackle subjects from a completely blank slate! I've often said the best thing school can teach you is how to learn and problem solve. The subject matter itself isn't nearly as important as learning how to break problems down and be creative when finding solutions.

let me just say I've been learning 3d modelling and animation in college for 2 years now and am surprised how you found quick tools to help you i hadn't discovered myself, and got a lot done in such a short time period! Zbrush is also notorious in my major for being hard to pick up on.. a handy tool for texturing you could use is adobe substance painter, although, since it's adobe, it's probably expensive, I've only used it with school license... as for looping animation.. I only know how to do that in Maya..
