I was learning Schumann's Träumerei at a gentle pace, and I starting having trouble bringing it up to the tempo Schumann had marked in his score. I decided to take a month-long break, then revisit the piece.

Very beautiful, Heidi. I enjoyed it even with a couple little bumps. Very sorry you have experienced a bit of a health setback. Hopefully you will get back to baseline soon. However, you have probably learned how to cope and function despite health issues, as I have done. ❤

Thanks Claudia! I'm glad you enjoyed it. 🙂 And yes, I've certainly learned how to weather the ups and downs of chronic illness over the last few years, although I still find it frustrating when I can't do everything I want to do!

@@piecewisepiano Yes, for sure. I totally get it. I was about your age when I developed my chronic illness. Too young, but no one said life was fair. Thankfully, we are able to cope. Keep on truckin’, my friend!
