TR182 Garmin 530 and STEC 50 Demonstration

3 жыл бұрынThis video is to demonstrate the Garmin 530 and STEC 50 autopilot that I will be removing from the airplane and selling. I am installing a dual Dynon HDX and autopilot. The 530 will be replaced with a 530W.

I have a '79 TR182 and need an avionics upgrade. I called Dynon to inquire about the HDX and autopilot. I was told that they haven't yet obtained the autopilot STC for the TR. However, there is one currently installed in a Skylane for certification and they should have the STC by the end of the year. Is yours the test mule? I enjoyed your video on why you bought this airplane. I bought mine for all the same reasons.

No, mine is not the test mule. I'm hoping the autopilot is ready sometime around October as that is when I plan on dropping it off to Saint Aviation.
