now, THIS is a fan made teaser... and I love the thing that the guy at the end is Sark from the original Tron.

I come here to morn the loss of a possible Tron sequel. Thank you Disney for pulling the plug on a world of imagination and possibility. Now we're left with recycled Star Wars.

Bravo. Huge f-ing bravo to all who worked on this. I saw the original Tron in the cinema when it was released and like most others who saw it, I've never forgotten it. I saw Tron 2 in the cinema and it left me pretty cold. One of the posters below my comment has it spot on when he/she says "Everything about this works". Most of all, great tone. Thanks for this.

this fan made is amazing, at the time I believed it like everyone else, but to this day it still surprises me how real it looks, if Sark didn't appear this could easily pass for canon like Tron The next day.

Awesome work! Disney should definetly be made well aware of your work. You guys deserve to be a part of whatever's coming from Disney.. This is so way beyond 'fake'. It feels completely like Tron. It's got everything what it takes to make the audience want to see the movie.

F it. I'm posting again. Jesus H. Everything about this works. The plot progression, the vibe, the sincerity..and most importantly of all, a theme that finally renders Flynn's original purpose visible to the world outside of coders. That interaction of mutual synergistic benefit, of "users" and their ability to modify/write "code", the essence of the grid itself, and the grids capacity to manifest anything programmed their in the "real" world...he'd be right. It WOULD /change/ /everything/. Outstanding idea, here.

In a word...Fantastic. We've seen the virtual world twice now, I think its time we saw some of the characters from the virtual created reality in the "real" world. I hope the producers and directors take a look at this and see all the ideas the fans are brainstorming about. Great job!

Correct, summoner2100. The terrain that the Light Runner is running on is the rocky terrain of the Outlands, the remote part of The Grid. Kevin Flynn's lightcycle is the only one that can ride from Flynn's Safe House down to TRON City, like the scene when Sam rode into Tron City to find Castor at the End of Line Club.

I think a third movie with the general story of programs finally making it outside of the grid would make for a great finale to pull a wonderful trilogy together.

I mean the ending of Tron Legacy.. with the sunrise and them riding on the bike and how well, lighting, music, camera work ;)
