EL Trabino was purchased from Bulgaria. It was shipped to Hungary and received a new engine, transmission, and brakes. Then it was shipped to me in Florida. I drove it once and it sat for over 2 years in my warehouse. I moved out of my warehouse recently and brought them to this location.
I hate that they both sit outside. I could store them in that trailer but it's a pain in the butt. I would like to find them a new home. If you are interested message me at trabantforsale@yahoo.com.

Trabants have such a unique sound, but they are almost gone, 10-15 years ago in rural Hungary you could see Trabants and Wartburgs on a daily basis alongside Ladas used as daily cars, and now it's.. maybe you see a Lada. My neighbor's daughter used to own a 1.1 that they sold ~5 years ago. The only actually old vehicle I still see daily driven in the village is an UAZ 452 owned by a hunter who swears it's the best thing for his hunting trips.

Trabant videos are so wonderfully nostalgic. I have also recorded many exciting Trabant reports etc. from the TV on VHS.

Ohh man I had one in 2000. We cut the roof but only inside and made a cabrio Trabant. Paint white and green just like German police back in the day. We took a trip to Croatia from Gdańsk in Poland. One of the craziest and nicest trips I’ve ever made. Regards for crazy American with Trabi 🙋🏽‍♂️👌🏽💪🏽👍🏽

@@Trabantusachannel damn so sorry for mistake. Sziastok Brat. During my trip in 2000 we drove in Hungary and stopped by Balaton lake. Many Hungarians waved hands to us when they saw our German polizei Trabi. Lovely people 🫶🏼. Bonkers time I can tell you that.

I have two pickup Trabants. Both of them are green. I call this one El Trabino the other is the “ pick up Trabi “. I had this one sitting for a long time in my warehouse. I basically never drove this one before. Maybe once when I drove it onto the trailer. It runs great and has a lot of power. Looking for a new loving home for it.
