I will check that thanks for the heads up. But the suspension kit makes a huge difference since the seat plate only has them hard plastic things under it..

Will do. Have to install a mulch kit too. Will probably get those both done in the next couple of days

Installed everything today. I only did a quick test on it and honestly not feeling a big difference. I turned the knob both firmer and softer but don't feel much of a difference. My mower has slide rails so did not use any spacers.

@@LetsDIYIt mine feels like an air ride compared to what it was before.

​@@hackthehoneydolistI only have about an hour and a half of seat time on my mower, pre Trac Seat, and my mower has both rear and front suspension, so it's both possible that I just need to ride it more or that the suspension on the mower itself does a pretty good job making it not as noticeable. I'll hopefully get a better idea once I mow with it next week. Do you set your seat more firm or soft?

Yes I put the spacers in and yes best upgrade. If you watch my video you will see I did use the spacers because of the seat safety switch as you said. I learn the hard way, Lol. It does work great and my back feels better! Thank you for your feedback .

@@hackthehoneydolist not for the safety switch with out the spacers u can't put the safety switch i meant on the 4 bolts that connect to the seat frame on the mower my friend has a zt1 he did with 4 spacers on the bottom n 4 on the top for the kill switch iis like riding on air bags lol that's why i ordered one my self 😀cool video 🫡

So Trac Seats did tell me that as well. By not having those spacers under the suspension kit as well as the seat I wasn't getting the full range of motion possible. So I ordered the other spacers and I will correct this when they come in. Thanks for pointing that out. I look forward to even more comfort.

It is not difficult and anyone can do it if you know how to use wire strippers and crimpers. You just need wire to extend the switch, can probably get a trailer wiring harness from Harbor Freight, plus all of the following items at Harbor Freight too if you want to. Below are Amazon links to use or show you what to look for, they are affiliate links but there is no extra charge to you if you buy through them. I will make a video on this in the near future. 16g stranded wire like this amzn.to/49M3v3V Heat Shrink Butt Connectors, 16-14 AWG amzn.to/448IEGQ Wire strippers/crimpers amzn.to/3U8PZSb Flexible wire cover amzn.to/3Ut5Vz5 You may want some electric tape too. You just cut the wires in the middle, strip the ends of the wires on both sides and the extension wire, use the butt connectors to connect each wire, use lighter or heat gun to shrink the heat shrink then cover it with the flexible wire cover and tape if you feel the need.

I did this few weeks ago when I purchased my ZT1. I pur the Harley springs on it too. Instead of extending the wires, I put something between the button and the housing that compresses it to keep the button pressed constantly. Worth every penny. I can't understand why Cub Cadet, which is supposed to be the nicer brand, was cut rate and forced you to buy the parts that should have been on there from the factory.

​@@custommx3 I don't know about Cub Cadet (I have a Bad Boy) but some brands offer a suspension seat. Usually not on all models, and they are upwards of $850. If the Trac Seat performs as well, then it's a big savings and better than going with what the mower manufacturers offer
