This dude is genuinely hilarious, I laughed out loud many times, highly recommend you watch it but with standard expectations, not high. Craig Ferguson is constantly giving Trace Adkins a hard time & his responses are hilarious.
Btw, it's hilarious to observe Craig doing this, what do I mean? Well, when big guys come on, he finds a humorous way to annoy them in the most hilarious ways, you can observe this with Michael Clarke Duncan & Trace. It's the best thing ever.
Also, want to say that it looks like this ended badly, but I have proof they are good friends, Trace came on Craig show, "Join or Die" around 2015. Enjoy!

Trace worked in the offshore oil field, he been shot by his wife (former) did not press charges, lost part of a finger, still has a great sense of humor. Cowboy Up fits this guy's mantra.

@@nickgarcia1292 actually it may be some truth to it since it's the higher paying gig...but even then I don't think Craig would have liked a prime spot. His jokes and humor wouldn't have went over well with the exec's. Now if he started doing his own through a streaming service, HBO, or even like Conan did working a deal out with TBS before switching himself...that would be a thing he would probably return for if he decided to since the restrictions wouldn't be near as bad.

I did some remodel work at a big amphitheater that got damaged from weather. We ate where the show people would eat. The guy that prepared the food said a big guy with a pony tail and a cowboy hat came in one day and was eating.. he said that he thought he was the truck driver for who ever was on that night. Said he was a super nice guy they ate and talked. As he walked out the big man said "you dont know who I am do you?" Its was Trace Atkins .....lol

That's what I love about Craig Ferguson, he didn't take all that shit seriously. He gave as good as he got but knew it was all in fun. Only watched 3 talk shows that just made me laugh hysterical: The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The Graham Norton Show. Don't watch any other ones. And wow Trace Adkins, heck yeah one of the first country singers I just loved. He and Josh Turner, their voices, good Lord. 🤠😍

@ORagnar Only those of us old enough to have watched it when it was on in prime time back in the 70s. (I am, and I did.) When Antonio Fargas was Huggy Bear. Paul Michael Glaser was Dave Starsky and David Soul was Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson. "The series' protagonists were two Southern California police detectives: David Michael Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser), the dark-haired, Brooklyn transplant and U.S. Army veteran, with a street-wise manner and intense, sometimes childlike moodiness; and Kenneth Richard "Hutch" Hutchinson (David Soul), the divorced, blond, Duluth, Minnesota, native with a more reserved and intellectual approach. Under the radio call sign "Zebra Three", they were known for usually tearing around the streets of fictional Bay City, California. Much of the series was shot on location in the Los Angeles beach community of San Pedro. The building that was used as the Metropolitan Division police headquarters is now San Pedro's City Hall." +DazedDayz Not really "instant" classic. The line is classic but "old" classic n shows how many years Trace did play "beer joints". He has the dry wit that controls rowdy drunks without making them mad. Lots of fun to watch he and Craig sparring.

You have made my weekend, I found this treasure on U Tube. Trace & Matthew are my favorite guests, but Craig is the BEST. I miss his show so much! Thanks for this awesome compilation of the best late show ever. I have spent my weekend laughing mao!
