Crazy thing is. We used to play shows with Gabe when he was in a band here in Pitt. He now lives in a camper off the grid and all he does is write music. He basically wrote the whole album in his camper living in nature. Pretty sick. Good dude too

Dan Watson might have one of the most unique vocal ranges in all of metal.

These guys are super underrated, Dan has improved his vocals so much since his time with Infant Annihilator!

I’ve always loved Dan Watson and EE but they superseded my expectations with this one. Awesome track.

Yea this song is perfect. In terms of modern deathcore, it doesn’t get much better than this. Gabe is one of my favorite deathcore guitarists, and Dan showed in this track exactly why he is held to such a high standard as a vocalist. Brandon also deserves more recognition for his drumming, just like you said. He did such a great job driving this track forward and making sure it has a great backbone. Incredible fucking song, can’t wait for the album.

I've been a fan of these guys for so long, but this is absolutely up their with their best tracks if not being straight up their best. This shit is fucking insane and Dan's cleans took me by surprise in the best way possible. This song starts at 100 and never lets up. Can't wait for the new album!!!

Been waiting a long time for new stuff from these guys and I couldn’t be happier. They deserve so much more recognition than they have and I hope this new album gets them a lot more exposure. Really sad to see a lot of people knocking this for the cleans. Dan’s voice is different and it definitely might take a few listens to get used to his singing tone, but let’s be real, not many people can hit notes like that and I think they deserve major props for having the balls to try something like this. That really cool, insanely high dissonance in the bridge remind me of a band called Frostbitt - they do batshit crazy riffs like that all the time, it's so awesome.

0:20, yes Ricky Hoover of Ov Sulfur was on the Garza podcast about that topic, & Courtney Laplante said on Loudwire that she thinks people focus too much on genre which makes people less open to bands evolution, even my boi Kyle of BOS said he thinks cleans are okay in Deathcore if a song calls for it, he referenced Lorna shore Dancing like flames sing/scream so hell yeah!

I mean, it was a while since EE dropped something & I'm also a big fan of Mire Lore: I kind of expected them to do something a lot more different than what they usually do. Dan is an outstanding vocalist & I can say that I am a fan of his uncleans as well as cleans. Whoever's bitches about "deathcore can't have cleans", I don't know what to say to you lmfao. You gotta figure it out. Not every deathcore band can pull it off and these guys definitely were able to. This is one of the best tracks of the year, It has such a versatile, more complex structure & I highly appreciate the melody, as well as how heavy EE can go. :-) 🤘🏻🔥 Can't wait to hear more soon!

I don't like the cleans that much at this moment probably will grow on me down the line. But I Also appreciate bands evolving specially deathcore because too much deathcore sounds the same because bands focus too much on breakdowns and not the music.

Fuckin sick! I liked the cleans but not really the sing/scream parts, it almost sounds like there is an effect on his voice. Doesn’t bother me enough to bash it though! The rest of the song kicked so much ass that it’s definitely going on the playlist!

I like everything about it but those clean vocals were just way too high pitched for my liking. Btw, I know you don’t tend to review much hard rock on the channel but the new Bad Wolves and Papa Roach tracks aren’t too bad. Worth reacting too as well as new The Plot In You!

The title of this video solidifies that our tastes are so far apart. These days you have no appreciation for refined melodies and you’ll like anything (even this song with horrible singing) as long as it has unique structure or alien noises.
