C63 lost bcaz of Tires , c63 has a disadvantage since it has 235 front 245 rear , bmw have 255 in the rear 245 front ,

Now this is proper racing, not the soft drag races the YT channels put up cause they're scared of damaging the cars. E92 M3 is the most complete M3 IMO, great look, great engine, fantastic noise and works as a city and a track car. As long as you can afford the maintenance costs of course lol.

Many years ago I rode in a dct e90 m3 up to 150 and a launch control 0-60. It was a beast and the intake sound with the itb’s is amazing

Remember people. The G35, 2nd Gen. G25, G37, Q50, Q40, & Q60 are all Skylines. They are just the USDM models produced in the same factory in Yokohama, built with LHD, badged with "Infiniti" designations, & were exported to the US (along with a few other markets as well).

The Japanese Skyline named ones has unlimited options too. Almost all had the factory LSD which barely any G35s have. My 350gt Coupe is a non revup VQ35DE, but then the revup auto like in this video... (Factory lsd). Makes a huge difference putting power down.

@@Corvolet5 keyword: they are skylines not GT-Rs. Most people seem to forget that GT-Rs are just the top trim level for skylines, like how there are ordinary Lancers and Imprezas, not just Evos and STis. They were not standalone sports cars. Only the R35 is like that. Of course the GT-R is would be faster, a fair comparison would be to the RWD Skyline 25GT Turbo (ER34).

Very impressive considering it's the rare E90 M3 with a manual transmission. Give them the E92 with the DCT and the results will be even better.

@@evil2rs LOL say that to most 911/Ferrari/McLaren owners. At least since the mid 2000s a DCT/automatic shifts so much better than a manual. Only exception might be something made by Ford or Renault lol, their autos move like ass.

@@Corvolet5 you don’t need to tell me how good a DCT is , I’ve got a R35 GTR . But I would rather a manual any day , way better driver experience. DCT ( well any duel clutch) is boaring with no driver skill. In fact I would rather drive the wife’s 6sp Holden VE HSV R8 than my GTR.

@@TuranTeam1453 It actually goes up to 8400 rpm. Peak power is at 8300 rpm. I've driven an E92 M3 with DCT over 10 years ago and it was really amazing.

Только как туда овощной скай попал я не понимаю😂 не корректное сравнение среди остальных,было бы интересно посмотреть в сравнении с однокласниками бнв335,мерс 3,5 и лексус 3,5,а так все ожидаемо,мерс шпарит на прямой,тормозов не хватает,в поворотах тяжело,мощная тачка для ровных дорог,эмка на мехе это круто конечно,Лексус что-то среднее между мерсом и бэхой,хороший надежный аппарат,каждая хороша по своему У лексуса кста самое быстрое время на круге получилось

@@muscleandimports Yeah, the 3.5 V6 or 3.7 Nissan engine are a peace of cake for the 2UR Toyota ... Just ride in an Infiniti and step hard on the throttle. You'll understand.

@@legioner9 exactly, they are a piece of cake for that 5.0 V8 in that Lexus to smoke. I've driven a g37s coupe and a ISF. Hands down the ISF would smoke the Infiniti. Infinitis are nice cars, but quality & reliability goes to Lexus all day. That being said, I would still pick an r34 gtr over just about anything else.. so definitely still have love for Nissan.

That AMG's poor brakes were screaming for mercy near the end of the 2nd lap. Moving 2+ tons at supercar speed isn't easy and doesn't go for long on the stock bits! :D

@@diggarsa8614 Incorrect. The video link itself says it's 1800kg. Depending on the year - 1800-1820 is as light as a C63AMG ever was, they get fatter from the early 2000's onward.. 1800kg - 3968 lbs. 4000lb = 2 tons. Excuse my disregarding 32 lbs - 14kg. Not 300 by a long shot.

I can tell you after owning one when you're modified and in the high RPM's you don't even hear it. Watching on youtube you notice it, but IRL it just kinda blends into background noise

7:48 That wiggle in the tail of the C63 is what cost it the race to the M3. It's totally unnerving when that happens. I found out that it's worn rear suspension links and sub-frame bushes causing that. Replaced the worn links and it's a real blast to drive now!

These cars were pretty much brand new when they tested them I think (it was shot in 2008). Depending if it's a regular C63 or the one with the P30 performance package, it can have the LSD. I think in the video it's "just" the regular one without LSD, that's why it steps out so violently. It's still great fun though.

@@SgtKanyo It's possible, I just know its not a nice feeling barrelling down on a corner and then hard on the brakes and then that happens. So I checked and the links on my car (Edition 507 with LSD) were not great, car is seven years old you know. So I did a suspension refresh and it made a huge difference!

@@hardusmichaelmuller7283 Oh you were talking about braking? Some cars are set up in a way to get a little oversteer on braking. It helps you take the corner better if you know what you're doing. It's called trailbraking, but yeah using it is quite hard and unnerving. I got a w221 S63 on my side and from factory none of them came with the LSD unfortunately. On corner exit the oversteer is very manageable, but an LSD would make it silky smooth I think. I'm thinking about getting one, but they are mad expensive (one from Renntech for example). And yeah a suspension refresh can change the car's behaviour. I'm guessing your alignment might have been off a bit.

No, The M3's nose was so far up the c63's ass for so long that once he got around him did you see the Gap that he opened up before he did that drift? The M3 driver was just trying not to crash into benz as it wiggled around the track un front of him.

This one was a base c63, piloting one with an open diff is insanely unpredictable at the limit lol

@@lopez1102 no, there is no base C63. It came as standard with a limited slip differential. The W204 C63 is a difficult car to handle! Even top gear shows that.

@@kunalmore5212 Incorrect. The LSD was only an option (option code 471 to be precise). The only C63 that came standard with an LSD is the Black Series. On the earlier cars like this one you could get it with the P30 performance pack option alongside stiffer suspension or as a standalone option. The later performance pack was the P31 which didn't include the LSD so you had to spec it individually if you wanted it. Cars equipped with the performance pack also got 30 extra horsepower and some suspension tweaks. This particular car doesn't have any of that judging by the ride height and one wheel drifts. As far as I know the top spec C63 was called the black series but even that was not able to match the performance of the M3 GTS (watch a video of Chris Harris) doing lap times in each cars. The M3 despite being low on power defeats the C63 black series on the lap!

BMW's M Engineers were very smart. The chassis was purpose built around a smaller displacement V8 with less torque to prevent the oversteer. Perfect combo made it the best in class.

Very reliable but also quite powerful Best of the bunch, bmw and Mercedes at the time already went back to being unreliable and very poorly built. (E39 BMW, E30 M3, M3 E36, E46 M3, and the rival e55 AMG Mercedes are all old but reliable, something they’re all no longer are)

That played out exactly as I expected with the nissan getting dropped, the amg being a straight line monster but no good in the corners, the ISF being 3rd showing it is exactly what it is, very good but not quite at the level of the Europeans, and the m3 once in front disappearing over the horizon showing its clearly the superior drivers car compared to the others.

Brand new those cars are better than the IsF. But right now? The IsF will still be on the track compare to the Germans in this segment

That manual transmission give him more control in curves and he comes out smother. c63 can’t put down its massive power when coming out of turns and results so much spinning and no control automatic transmissions technologies weren’t that good those days only good enough for straight line and m3 really enjoying that control getting from manual

Wasn’t the G (Skyline 350GT) a little underpowered? If this was around 2008 the VQ37VHR was just debuting, but only in the coupe... the G37 sedan with the 7 speed transmission didn’t launch until 2009

i’m annoyed bc they didn’t use the 6MT transmission in it. i have that g35 sedan with the 6mt it’s so much fun and the gears aren’t crazy long like the 5at

Japan market doesn't have a manual in the sedan. I've got a 50th anniversary v36 and wish they came in manual. Never here people manual swapping them either:(

Right, the IS-F driver just let the Benz and bimmer pass on the straight. All 3 of those cars have nearly the same straight line acceleration, so they wouldn't be able to fly by like that.

It's a similar engine structure. Same amount of cams, hp, torque, same size pistons, just different piston jump, a lot shorter than coyote

More like the coyote sounds like the ISF since the Lexus came out in '08 and the 'yote came out in '11 😉 Also, I'd take lexus engineering all day over Ford

Get a 10 plus ISF with a limited slip differential and the result would have been different. ARA couldn’t handle the open diff on corner exit.
