Picked it up last weekend in white and I’m loving every minute of it…perfect medium between a super sport and naked…great mid range power and more than capable to keep up with most litre bikes on the track

I picked up mine in red a few weeks ago and I have a smile on my face any time I'm riding. The triple engine has such great power delivery and sounds great even with the OEM exhaust. I'm hoping to take it out to the track after it's fully broken in.

Do you know how it compares to the superveloce? Both around £15k but 400cc displacement difference. I know I'm only comparing because they look a bit similar, but they do both look great.

The only trackday I've ever done was on a 900 hornet, about 15yrs ago, I was crap. But I did discover the pegs were to low (oops), and I warped the front discs.

Hey Yammie. What about the body positioning and ergonomics on track if you compare it to R1 for example. I am considering on these two bikes. And in my country, triple is 12% cheaper on the price. Is there any weirdness for the track ergonomics? It is genuinely a naked bike ultimately. My previous bike is F3 RC and don't know what to do.

God I want this bike so bad. I have a street triple 765 and I’ve never ridden anything better on the track or street. For me I like it more than the Duke 890, mt09 even better than an r6 lol because it’s so comfy

Tested the normaL RS one yesteryday it was way to fast to really enjoy it normal overland streets and acceleration was way to brutal without a windshield.

“Can the speed triple keep up with an R1”……. I think better question would be can an R1 keep up with the speed triple. Especially if the turn to straightaway ratio is in your favor. Remember when the viper came out and all these dudes tried to road course them? They’d honestly do better if you pulled some plug wires lol.

How's the position on this vs an RSV4? Is it still as aggressive? I think i want something with higher bars and lower gearing. Can't get out of 1st gear on our usual mountain road.

Pretty cool to hear Papa Yam get fully giddy over a bike. I'll forgive him for his Triumph simping. I do like the black/white trim with the bikini fairing. Too much bike for my skills and wallet but still a sweet beast.

Triumph really copied MV Augusta’s homework when it comes to the look. I like this bike but I think my husbands Superveloce looks better.

Hard to beat MV for styling. (Might as well try to join 'em.) A for MV vs A- for Triumph on looks imho. Close enough that if I were choosing between the two it would be down to how they ride. Too bad no dealers ever let you test ride, heh.

Nice Thai sport bike there, but if I'm going to buy an Asian made motorcycle I'd probably stick to Japanese myself. Faster and more reliable.

Dumbest Mentality ever. Fix your brain bro. Literally. Majority of European bikes are manufactured outside of Europe. Only few of the flagship bikes are made in EU from each manufacturer. Ducati literally makes around 50% of their bikes in Asia. Doesn't mean the bike is going to breakdown on day 1.

I like the looks it’s just the dumb exhaust… Why not do it like Honda on the cbr600 under the seat or maybe like a V4 under neath the bike! I mean common BMW does the same shit thing like for ever! There are much better ways at hiding it or atleast giving it a better position… Again another bike fckd over of the design teams…
