Seeing the Triumph and Norton twins and Norton singles and all the other old British racing bikes brought back memories of going to Croft and Silloth with a mate who raced a 350 Velo. The sound at the starting flag was amazing, I'm sure the ground actually shook. Not so welcome ws the sound of a disc valve 2 stroke warming up at the break of dawn?????
