Was just a mess all morning that day, scrutineering issues and the fact i parked at the opposite direction of the paddock to it, so I was already tired when I got on the track, and I was also a bit angry as wel. Was just a lethal combo

Thanks for the words. The esses were I felt I was losing a fair bit of time, the bike felt sluggish on direction changes initially, but to be honest I never really got settled or enough laps in to find out properly as I made the rookie-est of rookie mistakes. It was only my second time at Darley, but it’s good to see I’m at least managing one thing close to right regarding the “normal” corner speed. Hope to be there for a full season next season rather than just one or 2 days so hopefully will learn a bit more - will deffo give your KZfaq a watch though. Will give me a good idea of what to build into

I crashed in practice and beat myself and the bike about quite badly. I didn’t have the spares to fix the bike, and my helmet was ruined so I couldn’t get back out. As for the riding, it was a mess, there was no technique whatsoever on my end. I just hammered the throttle and stuff. Wasn’t really pushing hard (I was 10 seconds a lap off others on the same bike) but I wasn’t used to the bike or the track and just was riding so tense….

I did have a look, but I wasn’t close enough hence why I had the bad line
