Thank you for the gems of local knowledge that I can't understand not knowing them until this yur vidjoe o yors. Thanks. Yeovil, Dorset and as it goes, Bournemouth, Hants. Like a game of pass the parcel, every border settlement seemingly shifted along to the adjacent chair/county. Molly the polite ghost. Only the best in Dorset, you see. Oh ah , err, Somzet..!

I don't know why the owners of Yeovil Junction don't allow an indepedent cafe owner to reopen it. This has been done up and down the country!

That would be something for South Western Railway to consider as it's their station to manage.

@@tracksintotheunknown That is what I assumed. A lot of Railway companies realise it is way to make extra cash and ensure a building is fully used and not left to go derelict!

Learn to pronounce Gillingham correctly.

There is a difference in pronunciation between Gillingham in Dorset and Gillingham in Kent. I should know I spent almost 6 years pronouncing Gillingham in Dorset when I worked on the railway dispatching trains towards Yeovil and Exeter! Have a nice day 👋

I've beeen assured it's Jillingham in Kent and Gillingham (hard G) in Dorset
