I'm glad you pointed out the "freeze track" feature. I was rendering tracks, not because I wanted the recording, but because I wanted it to be processor efficient (mainly for synth tracks, which can be a bit processor heavy if several are layered together). Also, my guitar playing is a bit sloppy and inconsistent. So having the ability to loop and record several takes in quick succession, and edit together the decent bits from each one, is amazing, and it makes me feel a bit better about recording guitar tracks. I mean, my keyboard playing is just as bad, but at least with that, I can manually tweak the midi notes to make myself sound like a pro. :P

So how do you align the transients incase they are slightly off grid? Like Logics "FlexTime" or Ableton's "Warp"? You need this for everything, especially vocals. If it can't do this then no professionals will ever use it.

So no matter what I try I can't get the live input monitoring to work. Are there any other options that have to be changed? It shows activity from my audio interface and will even show to record it but there is no sound while playing or when played back.

Hi it seems like my audio is not working sometime, like when I click input 1, I cannot hear any audio and then when I click virtual, I can hear an audio sometimes, sometimes I dont. What seems to be the problem?

New to home recording. I am able to record a track but I'm having issues when trying to record track 2. I recorded a guitar track on track 1 and then wanted to record vocals on track 2. But after recording the vocals and hearing the playback I heard track 1 in the back ground of my vocals. How do I correct this?

Hi, I'm not looping while recording, no comping. But I record multiple times on the same track..i can't see the cross in the corner of the clip..what i ear is a overdub of multiple track. How to keep only the last?

How come when I have everything connected like my keyboard to my interface and then connected to my computer and add a track and the input but when I try to record when I play my keyboard nothing records even though it says it does

Good video. Thanks. The following question is directed to the channel or anybody on this channel who may have the answers. As far as looping goes I can't seem to find any videos that cover the ability to change the loop as it's playing e.g. moving the beginning and/or ending loop points as the loop is playing so it's shortened or lengthened on the next cycle. Does Waveform free or paid have that option? Also does Waveform have an automated zero crossing point finding and marking feature. I have used other music software that will make a series of slices of a clip at points it thinks might be useful sample chunks. Thanks in advance for your attention to this.

cant get ASIO of any kind to work with Waveform. Using Windows Audio. Took a while to figure out. Waveform, has so much going for it. I really hope they work the plugin and audio issues out, then it would be one of the best

How can I record multiple inputs at the same time? I'm finding no info on this and waveform will not allow me to route multiple inputs i.e. usb mic and a audio di box and run them as separate inputs

I don't understand why when I hit the play button to play back the audio, it doesn't play back the audio on the clip. I've set up my interface with AISO in the audio device manager and can hear the instrument just fine through my interface and the audio does get recorded but I have to double click the individual track to playback the audio. Why doesn't the audio play back the audio when I simply hit the play button with the plug in added?

That is in your audio settings somewhere depending on if you're using Windows or Mac.

I think you right click on the track and a menu pops up with different sources to load to track.

@@arnipinill6753 Just check the website for the differences, main difference is getting more extra's (plugins, instruments). But the functionality stays the same. So if you're using your own plugins and software instruments already, then the free version is more than enough.
